      I filed a warranty claim for a set of string lights in December of 2023. I was told to allow up to 12 weeks for a resolution. It has now been 14 weeks and no further correspondence nor resolution has been received.

      I purchased (3) BHF136184585001 solar lights from my local Wal-Mart on 3/26/2023 and in early June of 2023 my lights started to fail one by one. I contacted the customer service number listed and explained my issue, The paperwork that came with my lights states they have a (2) year warranty but when I spoke to customer service they stated it was a (1) year warranty. I had to email my receipt and model number of my lights so they could confirm my purchase. I was contacted later through email stating they don't have this model light in their inventory but offered a cheaper replacement to me instead. After thinking about it I agreed on the replacement. Since that email my lights have continued to fail while under their warranty until all of them have failed. I did follow up emails to inform them as my other lights failed. The original shipping timeframe was up to (12) weeks to be shipped out to me. June 15,2023 was the date my original order for the first replacement was processed. I (have not) received (any) lights from this company. As I mentioned earlier I stayed in contact with this company alerting them of my other lights failing, I was promised that a new order for (3) replacement lights was processed on November 21,2023 and should have gotten my lights in (12) weeks. Nothing came as promised contacted them again on March 6,2024 and was told a internal email was sent to the warehouse to get a delivery date for the lights and there has been (no) response as of today March 22,2024. There has been many attempts from my end to do follow *** on this matter and all I ever get is excuses and delays. There has been around (25) emails trying to get this warranty issue taken care of and they never come through on their word. I have $60.00 invested in these (3) lights that never made it through the summer. My last email to them stated that I have no other choice but to report them to the proper authorities. Please advise where I go from here as I have been very patient .

      I would like to update you on the progress of my situation of waiting for replacement lights. A couple days back I did finally receive my replacement lights that were promised to me. There has been no communication with me on this matter from the company , the lights just showed up at my house. I don't know what prompted them to ship me the lights as I have been waiting a year for them. Thank you to all parties involved with this matter, looks like this one ends up as a winner.  Again thank you very much!

      I contacted the companies customer service back in June in-regards to some defective lights I purchased. ******** told me that the lights should last up to four hours, on their packing and in the insert, it states lights last anywhere from six to eight hours. A few months passed and I noticed the lights only stayed on for about two hours, spoke with a ******** again. She stated she would place a replacement order and it may take up to 12 weeks. Well 12 weeks passed and nothing. So I emailed again in November, her reply was I have included your information in a daily email to the warehouse to give me an update. Still nothing, now because I waited for her to send a replacement I can no longer return these defective lights to the place I purchased them from.

      I purchased string lights for outdoors. The bulbs would fill with water when it rained. I contacted the IDC department and was told if I send the transformer plug ends I would get new lights for each one. I sent all 5 which were defective. In August 2021 they told me they were sending new lights. After 2 months I called to say I never received my lights. I was told they canceled my order but they didn't know why.They never informed me of this cancelation. I was assured they would reorder them and send them. The new order was placed by them on November 29th but I have not received them. I have called a few times and get told I will be called back or emailed but neither has happened. They claim covid is the reason but I can't imagine the entire company is out with covid for months at a time. They also blamed the new phone system they got. Since the new phone system I haven't been able to reach anyone. It's been 6 months since this process started. All I want is my 5 boxes of Smart Lanscape lights that I was promised by an employee whose name I will leave out of this post for their privacy.

      On September 20, 2018, I emailed customer service of IDC Texas because a bulb was broken in a new set of LED lights that I purchased at SAMS Club. Mrs. T****** emailed me apologizing for the damage and said she would replace the bulb. Mrs T****** said she would activate the 2 year warranty. I received the bulb as promised. On May 9, 2020, I contacted Mrs. T****** because I had 7 bulbs that failed to work because they were filling with water. On May 15, 2020, Mrs. T****** said: "Hello ******, During this pandemic we are working remotely. I will process another claim to have some bulbs mailed out to you. Please be patient with shipping, as soon as we can, we will have those mailed out. Stay safe and healthy." On July 1, 2020, I sent another email inquiring about the status of the bulbs. On July 3, 2020 Mrs. T****** emailed me and said: "Due to Covid-19, all warranty shipments have been delayed. We know this is concerning to you, and we're working hard to resume shipping in the near future." I emailed Mrs. T****** on April 11, 2021 and received a similar response. On December 5, 2021, I emailed Mrs. T****** requesting that the bulbs be replaced under warranty. On December 8, 2021, Mrs T****** said: "I have forwarded your information to my manager to get the bulbs mailed out. I apologize for the delay and inconvenience." The last email I sent her was on January 19, 2022 asking when I could expect delivery. She has not responded.

      I have bought several sets of these lights and now have 2 that have quit working under warranty. I have sent the business 3 messages with the required receipt attached. No response at all. Please help, thank you

      Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/09/22) */ During the time our customer was trying to reach us, half of our team had come down with the second wave of Covid and were out for an extended time. At that time staffing was and continues to be an issue. We are still here and assisting our customers as quickly as possible with all warranty claims. UPS tracking #1Z21WXXXXXXXXXxxxx shows our customer's two replacement lights were delivered Friday, September 17th, at 8:07 p.m. They have been emailed to kindly assist with updating their BBB case to shows resolved.
