Johnson Roofing put a roof on my house approximately 8 years ago. They came out about two years in because of an accumulator snow in the attic after a some storm. We also found wet wood on th North side of the house. Their explanation was that the wind blew it through the ventilation holes. I am not sure how the wind blew the snow in and made a perfect pile in the center of the attic. The house is very large. He found water stains on the wood on the North side of the house. He said that they could close the ventilations (2) for $3500. Every hour had ventilation so why would I plug the ventilation? It is there for a reason. I have had to fix sheetrock on the ceiling in the living room three times since. Yesterday, we found black mold on the east side of the house. I called Johnson Roofing and was told they did not know when they could come out to address the problem. She said that she could not put me on the schedule. The reception acted as though, it was funny. Last night two days after the storm we had the attic inspected. We took pictures and found at least three water stains on the ceiling and one on the floor of the attic. We located the one of the areas where water is coming in is directed from the ventilation holes placed on the roof by Johnson Roofing not the side ventilation placed by the builder. Ireceived a call today from someone by the name of ****** or ***** whose identified herself as the owner. She did not address my concerns but was concerned that I had threatened to **** She hung up the phone because she did not like my tone. She went on and on about long she had been in business. I expect them to fix the roof. This was and is a workmanship concern. I had them put on the roof the High Definition shingles. The first person that I spoke to was more concerned with letting know that since it has been more than two years, I would have to pay for the repairs. As I have told her, I expect them take corrective action.

****************** roof was installed 8 years ago. The workmanship warranty was for 2 years and the manufacturer's, Tamko, warranty on the material is in place. Johnson Roofing has had one call from this ************** prior to last week. It was on 2/22/2021 the technician went out and viewed a bathtub sized pile of snow in the attic. He provided a proposal for $3500 which she did not accept.

************** called the office last week 2 times and was threatening and very disrepectful to my receptionist. She threatened that she wanted us out there immediately or "she would take it to the next level and we would know when it hit us"

We do not take threats lightly.

I attempted to have a civil conversation with ************** to see if I could find out exactly what was going on and she would not allow me to speak nor to find help her before she started her threats again.

      I ended the call.

Johnsons roofing was hired to do a job to fix the roof. Between April 10th-11th ************************************************** to have to be shut down for two business days. I had to clean glass pieces all over the store. The lights shattered into several tiny pieces and got on all my merchandise in the store. It took me 2 days to clean to insure I got everything up. I had to move the store all around to clean there were tiny pieces stuck all over the merchandise and in between store fixtures . I have attached pictures of the damaged they have caused while working on the roof. They are refusing to take care of this. Also, they have huge roofing nails sticking out of the ceiling which looks very tacky. I am also worried about leaking. I want other people or businesses to know how this company works. I am very surprised how they have treated me. I got a call this morning from a lady from this company threatening and very rude to me. I didnt ask for any of this. I understand accidents happen and this is what insurance should cover. They are not wanting to take responsibility of their faults. This has been a nightmare. Very stressful

Johnson Roofing has a contract to reroof the building with the Landlord where ************** is a tenant. There is no business relationship between Johnson Roofing and ***************

The Landlord is fully aware that during the roofing process sometimes the roof deck can have movement that is our of the control of the roofer. The Landlord is responsible for anything inside the building excluding the items in the lease between the tenant and Landlord. She has been directed by us to contact the Landlord.

Out of an act of kindness and good faith we offered ************** a $1000 for her trouble yet she refused and tried to threaten us with social media and get more money that she is not due. The Landlord told her we were very gracious to even offer her anything and that she should take it and be done.

She has called and texted and harrassed our office staff all day and has been warned that continued harassment will result in charges being filed with the authorities.

We have since retracted our generous offer.

I am rejecting this response because: yes I am a tenant but your company had did damages to my store while working on a job. I wasnt able to open for 2 business day and was left with a huge mess to clean up. Someone is responsible for this. I have lost hundreds of dollars and was left with the stress of dealing with all of this. I had to wait for an electrician to come out and fix the light fixtures that were damaged. Half my store had no lights I also had to pickup tiny pieces off all my inventory in the store and had to move all the store fixtures around which are heavy to get everything all cleaned up. I wasnt offered any help for cleaning it was all left for me to deal with. I have not been harassing I have just responded to text messages your company sent me. I was told by your manager on duty who can put when it happened to send you guys a bill and your going to take responsibility for this when I reach out I get treated completely different When you mention good faith payment where do you even come up with this amount? I sent you like you asked a breakdown of my lost wages for 2 days, cleanup, damaged goods which were over $3000 In damages. I was willing to meet in the middle with accepting $1500. I am a small business family of 5 and this has hurt me having to shut down for 2 days with no income coming in for both days I was closed. I had several customers come to the shop that I had to turn away due to me not able to open for business. I am not behind on my orders and having to work extra hours to get all my orders back on track from this incident. This has been very disappointing and stressful and would have hoped your company would have handle this completely differently.
