On August 10, 2023, Tex Can came out and quoted me for turf installation. That same day, Tex Can sent me a contract, which I promptly returned via email. ***************************** then reached out to me via text about the deposit. ***** stated that Zelle or Venmo is easiest these days. I sent the deposit via Zelle. After August 10, 2023, I never heard from Tex Can or ***** ever again. It was my understanding they would reach out to schedule installation early September, which never happened. In the past 10 days, I have attempted contact via email, via text, and via call. I have had others attempt to call the number as well. I never received my turf installation to date. I never received my deposit back.Initial Complaint

On 7/10 I paid a deposit of $1,100. To Tex-Can Synthetic Turf ********************************************************** owners). I was given a contract that the materials would be ordered, given roughly 2 weeks to arrive an another 3-4 weeks to begin a 2day installation process where by the balance would be due. After many attempts to contact for follow up I was told the weather ( hot temps) were causing delays. At no point did the business reach out to me, Ive since not been able to reach ****** and ********* responded via email after 6 emails I sent to give a laundry of personal challenges without a resolution or refund if my money. I requested a refund as *** made countless attempts to contact them without a response. Ive received no material or installation of services.Initial Complaint

Tex-can was paid a $5500 deposit for turf for my backyard. Ive been trying to schedule an install date and cant get in touch with anybody.Initial Complaint

Contracted with TEX-CAN Synthetic Turf to install synthetic turf. Our obligations per contract fulfilled. W/in 3 days after they said they were finished we found several major issues. Contacted them 8/5/2023. They came on 8/6/2023. ****** stated that the only thing he could say "We were in a hurry to finish up but we will make it right". Said that he would return 8/8/2023. Zero communication from them. Multiple voice messages/texts sent w/ no response. 8/16/2023 I received email advising me of their personal issues with no mention of when or if they would abide by the contract/warranty. I waited for additional information. I emailed 8/19/2023 requesting update by 8/23/2023. No response. When the work began they did not have the turf and gave several excuses for more then 10 days. ****** advised me that he had some turf in their storage that he felt would match what we had ordered and would bring that. So we did not fully receive what we had paid for and we are not fully convinced what was installed is what we ordered. By all appearances of the product we believe this is scraps from another job they had There is an excessive amount of seems all are coming apart. Several are small splices tnot secured & the turf is lifting off the ground. Plugs of turf coming out daily leaving large holes. Turf not seamed and secured on outer edges, along the fence, gate and behind the work shop. Turf was now laying flat. They did rake it prior to leaving so it stood up as it should but obviously did not have enough sand laid on it to maintain that look. Ripples and waves throughout the yard. Sprinklers covered up. Gaps where turf cut too short around fence poles, sprinkles, workshop, river rock border, landscape borders sprinklers + more. Every company contacted to correct issues will not do job due to their own warranties unless they completely redo & use their own turf estimates range $8-$9 K. Request refund to apply towards new install from destruction they did to our home.Customer response
