On 6/2/2023 *********************** and I agreed to $2500 for door and arched glass installation package. On 7/14 we scheduled installation for 7/28 & 29/2023. He contacted me on 7/21/2023 and said he would need to order the door and arched glass package today, so it could be ready by 7/28/2023 and that it would cost $1250. So I wrote him a personal check for that amount. He stated on 7/26/2023 that he would be at my house at 9a on 7/282/2023 to start installation. On 7/28/2023 he hadnt arrived by 9:20a, so I reached out, he said he was getting crew together and would provide ETA. Around 9:30a he said he would be at my house in 20 minutes. When he arrived around 11:30a he was with one other person. The other person inspected area where installation was to take place and said they had to go pick up the door and arched glass package and would be back in a couple of hours. ****** told me he would go pick up drywall and other supplies and that cost would be $625.00. So I wrote him a personal check for that amount. He said he would be back before the other guy returned with door and arched glass package. Around 2:35p Id heard nothing, so I reached out. He said he would get an ETA and let me know. Around 3:50p, I still hadnt heard anything, so I reached out. He said now that he was in a meeting and would call me back. Around 6:50p I hadnt heard anything more, so I reached out and he said that other person told him he didnt want to do work. He told me that he would take care of it and be at my house around 9a on 7/29/2023 to do the work. He didnt show up, so I called him around 10a and just got voicemail. As of writing this around 7:30p on the evening of 7/29/2023, he hasnt contacted me. My ID number with his company that documents the work we agreed he would do is ****. I would like a refund from *********************** of what I paid, $1875.00, by cashiers check, because he did not render services as agreedBusiness response

I haven't read the complaint just yet, but we will be resolving this issue by returning Mr. ****** his money in full. We will have the funds to him by the end of the week. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience. ??Customer response

Business said they would have "funds to me by the end of the week", when initially responding to complaint on 8/6. It is 8/17 and I have not received repayment of funds I paid business in good faith, for services not rendered.Initial Complaint

He paid in full for his project and was completely satisfied with our work. Shortly after the project was completed and paid in full for, Mr. **** disputed some of the charges, saying he felt as if he over paid for some of the services rendered and asked for additional work to be designed and estimated for the right side of his home/driveway area. We designed and estimated the additional request. Whoever the estimating took longer than anticipated, and Mr. **** asked for a refund of the over charges he felt was owed to he, and his wife. We agreed to settle-up with any over charges they had possibly paid for and had the best intentions to work this out with them. Until, he text me personally a disgusting, and derogatory, text message, on Wednesday, October 5th, @ 10:39 AM, and I quote, "I can smell you from here, you're so full of ****." end quote. At that time, I took the liberty to reply via text message, "I'm in a meeting, sir, and Okay, not calling you back. Thank you" We at Lasting Impressions Landscape uphold integrity, and respect, no only for our Clientele, but for everyone. Our Company will not stand or communicate with anyone, that chooses to speak to us in that kind-of manner. After speaking to us that way, he emailed me and said that he would donate the money we refund him to Lakepointe Church. Unfortunately, Mr. **** put us and himself in a very uncomfortable situation, and we decline to speak to do any future business with him. Shortly after the project was completed and paid in full for, Mr. **** disputed some of the charges" Lasting Impressions did not deliver all that was quoted and charged and paid for. Among those items are: several tree stakes, a water feature, the pump(s) for said feature, installation of said feature. Lasting Impressions physically came by after the project and "audited" the job, agreeing that these items were paid for and not delivered, so to state we were "satisfied" is not fact. Lasting Impressions went over the original proposal with us, marked it up and took it with upon leaving so that they would have a checks and balances as to the credit promised. We discussed a possible phase 2 as mentioned but regardless, Lasting Impressions agreed the proposal included items not delivered and we were told "we will make it right regardless".Initial Complaint

I first called ****** ***** XXX-XXX-XXXX on 5/26/2022 for installing a new irrigation system on my property at **** ****** **** Dr, Rowlett, TX XXXXX. He promised to send me a design and an estimate in that Memory Day weekend after I sent him the survey of my property but he never it to me. He sent me an estimate for $5,775.00 on 5/31/2022 and asked me for half of the money as deposit. I said I don't feel comfortable for paying thousands of dollars up front without receiving anything. I agree to pay a deposit and he would send me the design. I paid him $600 on 6/7/2022. After waiting for 3 days, I still didn't receive anything. I texted him to ask for the design today (6/10/2022). He texted me back and said he would send me the design over the weekend. He told me the same thing on 5/26/2022 but he didn't send me any design. I was concerned and asked for a refund. This was when his attitude changed drastically. First, he said it was not his process to refund to customer. Then, he threatened me with words like "illegal complaint", "defamation of character", "lawsuit", etc. I felt very uncomfortable by his words and told him that I no longer could trust him. I repeatedly asked him for refund but he kept sending me nasty text messages unprofessionally, such as "you will get your design" and "but we are no longer interested in doing further business with you." That was completely irresponsible. I did not ask for a design but the installation of a new irrigation system. The design was only the first step to show his competence and knowledge of the irrigation business. But in the process, he not only failed to deliver what he promised but also show his unprofessional and disrespectful behavior to his customers. I am very disappointed. I wonder why there is zero complaints against this business in BBB. How could BBB rate this business as A+ with no customer complaint. That was one reason I contacted this business the first time. As stated in our phone conversations we explained every little detail about what your project detailed. Irrigation design and permit pulling, Which you agreed to paying so we could pull and obtain those. ****** stayed in contact with you every step of the way. When you made the payment of $600 it was not a down payment it was the payment for the permit and design like we had discussed. It was not even three days later when you started threatening the company to pull us from the job. In the summer time we are extremely busy. We never discussed a time frame of when we would get these to you. You were extremely impatient with us in our busiest time of the year, and we apologize that we could not meet your needs and be a bit quicker then the three days you gave us. Here is the email i had communicated with you sir. Good Afternoon Mr. **** This is his office manager. The initial payment of $600 was to pull the permit, and for Irrigation design like we had discussed. No where in any of our messages/emails/phone calls did we give an exact date as to when we would begin your service. It takes several days to pull a permit submit it and get a design drawn up. I am sorry you were extremally impatient while we got what was needed to start your project. Now that is has been maximum 3 Business days you are asking for a refund, I am sorry sir but at this time we will not be refunding you. You signed and agreement when you made the first initial payment.
