Aug 31, while driving, I called Elite Suites to book 2 kennels for my dogs for a last minute trip on Sep 5-7. During the call the rep told me there was a $135 deposit which I had her charge to my stored credit card. Later that night our trip imploded. The next day I had to cancel my reservations for the airlines, hotel, rental car and Elite Suites. Every other reservation cancelled easily, deposits and charges refunded - except Elite. I was told that they had a policy for holidays that cancellations had to be made at least two weeks in advance. I told her I just made the res yesterday which was already within the 2 weeks. She said sorry but it's policy. It wasn't a policy I was aware of nor was I informed of this policy when I agreed to the deposit. On their site I wrote a request for a manager to contact me about this policy which was not returned. Can I be subjected to a non-refundable policy that was not told to me? All other res were cxld and monies returned w/o prob
