From start to finish it has been something. Started with us being told we can do 8 in deep end and 3.5 in shallow, only to be told right before signing that cant happen it has to be 7 and 4. Told them shallow wasnt 4 and they swear it is but when my 9 year old stands in different spots the water comes to different heights on her in the shallow. Night after excavation a wall caved in as well as another wall having a huge hole and wires hanging out of the Earth. Constant water build up (outside of the fact they hit one of our sewer lines). Each crew left their trash everywhere in our backyard (regardless of clean up at end of project we still live there and are in our backyard so clean up should have been better; we ended up cleaning it ourselves). Random guys coming to our house in our backyard without communication, office manager not helpful most of the time, lots of conflicting information relayed, told have to pay $1,000.00 deposit at beginning when signing contract but not prior when we got estimate, etc. (basically caught off guard). Chose man made coping so there wouldnt be color variation and coping would look like the example at their showroom (so we thought). Coping had manufacturer markings on them all, when expressed to PB they had a guy pressure wash, sand, and seal (after we were told we had to do) only to make our coping 50 times worse. Plaster discolored in several spots all over, mastic discolored in spots, not flush with all coping, and not a straight line (done with a 2 liter coke bottle), dried grout on water tile, edge of concrete messed up from coping disaster. There are more scenarios just dont have room. PB keeps dismissing concerns and saying oh it looks beautiful. Charge ** for a ******** pool and we got a Kia ***** The pool is not worth the amount debt we accumulated. Yes, its a pool but quality is subpar for sure and not worth $90,000.00
