The RISE as it was formally called was bought out by new owners. Once the new owners came in they said they would fix the AC/HEAT and that has YET to happen. I am only there on Sundays for volleyball games and there are several hundreds of others there as well. In the summer time you could sit outside and be cooler. It is absolutely miserable. Half of the times the fans are not even working or on. This is unacceptable. Last weekend the bathrooms were over flowing with sewer water. So not only was it leaking into the hallway where people were walking we weren't even able to use the restroom in the facility. No statement was made, no email was sent. Nothing. We pay money to play here and it's absolutely disgusting. I don't even know how it is still open.Business response

This complaint and the other one filed against my company has been filed against the wrong company. The new owners of the property located at 2922 S. Goliad Street told us to vacate on June 17, 2021. Rockwall Indoor Sports Expo (RISE) ceased operations on that day. These complaints are against Rockwall Indoor Sports World. Please respond to acknowledge that this has been received and remove any and all complaints after that date from this record. Otherwise, I will have my attorney contact you to resolve this issue. If this is not the owner than who is and what is the name of the rockwall indoor sports world now? Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/10/03) */ It was an extremely hot Summer and yes, one of our AC units malfunctioned. That unit was fixed and all is working properly. We did have a septic problem due to a large number of people/kids using this facility and we had a customer stop up a toilet to the point of it overflowing. Last Sunday when we were there 3 out of the 4 toilets were not working. Something is always wrong and the bathrooms are extremely gross. An email should have been sent out about the bathroom prior to people coming into your facility. It was a hot summer yes, but it was cooler outside than it was inside your facility. That is unacceptable. You accommodate so many people and kids inside that building. If you can't keep up the maintenance then you shouldn't have bought it.Initial Complaint

Our sons attended the summer camp that rise provided. The lady that oversees the program is an absolute evil woman. She torments our five year old having him in tears everyday. Snapping photos of him while he's crying. She continually would say " you bad, you bad " to him making him feel horrible every single day. When I had had enough I approached the manager, the owner and the gm and they all covered up her lies instead of actually taking care of the problem. They told me that they can't make personnel changes right now Becuase they're having a hard time getting employees. So they're more concerned about having a body there then the welfare of the children that go there. Our son goes to a private school year round and has never had any issues there but the lies she has told about my 5 year old has got him kicked out. Not her taking ownership in the abuse she put him through. I hope to save someone else's child from this disgusting place.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/15) */ Rockwall Indoor Sport Expo (RISE) ceased to operate June 17, 2021. The property was sold and we were asked to leave, lease terminated. This complaint should not go against our company as it is no longer in business. Their issue is with the new property owners, Indoor Sports World. Their complaint is with them. Please contact them with this complaint.
