      On July 1, 2024, I tried to replace a power adapter for my Dell computer at the Dell customer service phone number.My ********************** is out of warranty a few years. I must have talked to ten foreign people from ***** and half them did not understand me, so I asked for the U.S. side for customer service. Some of them LIED and said they can't hear me, then they hung up on me. I spent literally 5 frustrating hours on the phone today with Dell non english speaking people trying to resolve this. They just kept transferring me to another department and refused to transfer to the U.S. side. They said they are Global, so when they transfer us to the U.S. side, it just goes back to another foreigner that is trained to take U.S. issues, but there is still the same communication problem because they are in another country that does not understand English very well. I then waited another 30 minutes on the phone for the transfer. The foreign girl then answered and then she hung up after 5 seconds after she said she was Dell. My power adapter stopped working after only 5 years. I was told the computer is out of warranty. However, my state has an extended warranty beyond the 1 year warranty, so Dell should send a new power adapter at no cost, also a power adapter should last more than 5 years. I would like to discuss this problem with the U.S. side to resolve. Solution to the problem. Send me a new replacement power adapter at no cost. Power adapter replacement part number.       Dell should be avoided. their software bricks the pc after updates. you never get to own the pc either. your paying for a product that they own and will not support. my latest experiance with them has been a 2 year ordeal with constant lies and false promises by 3rd party vendors acting like dell representives , they dont have power or authority to support outside of following their script. this is why when one can asks to be escalated and it never happens., and in my experiance when you do get a supervisor its usually a team lead which cant do anything either.i purchased a pc that has had all the part replaced over 3X, i bought this for my business and it has spent more time down and in the shop than anything else. *** begged to be escalated and have my pc replaced with one that works. insteasd they sent me a box to send them my pc for repair. after reciving the broken pc, the hardware was all man handled including bent pins all around the the processer, this is how they sent me the computer back with a comment fixed. theres pleanty of pc companies out there including local ones that will stand behind their products.
