Pursuant to the contract titled Job # C3374 dated November 29, 2021 (the Estimate), which was transferred to the agreement with receipt of payment on December 16, 2021 (invoice number ****). Texas HomePro LLC representatives started working on my property January 13, 2022. February 14, 2022 I was made aware of a no permit violation for the construction work and was forced to stop all work due to the City of Killeens Building Inspector enforcing a Stop work order. Texas HomePro LLC business owner/inspector, ***********************, and I had several meetings after I notified them of the issue. The *************** ************************* required Texas HomePro LLC to get the work inspected by an engineer to be deemed acceptable or completed correctly to move forward. The report from the engineer has not been shared by Texas HomePro LLC and no work has been done after requesting to see the report. The work was not completed at the time of the violation and has not been completed as of July 22, 2022. *********************** and ***************** stated in previous meetings that they were committed to making all corrections to get the job done right. However, they failed to adhere the contractual requirements including the *************************************************************************** finalization date as of July 22, 2022.Despite several requests, Texas HomePro LLC has yet to made an attempt at repairing the damage caused by its sub contractors/teams negligence of improper installation. If no action is made to fix the situation I will be forced to hire another company to repair the damage resulting in an estimated $14K charge or more. Accordingly, I am requesting that Texas HomePro LLC fulfill the contractual obligations by doing whats required to complete the concrete extension and roof addition to code. To include but not limited to, the demolition of the concrete lay, reconstruct lopsided pillars, install outdoor fixtures and correct everything else indoors also.

Yes, our office did not file the permit like they where supposed to and was a clerical error. But, we immediately remedied the issue with the city and paid the fines due to the clerical error and immediately file the permit and had it inspected by the municipality and the municipality approved the permit in full and stating that the construction complies with Code. ***************** throughout the project was difficult to deal with and even bullied us into wrapping the columns in brick even though we were not paid for it nor was it listed on the signed estimate but we did it anyways because she called the project manager very upset stating that she spoke to the sales guy about it (months earlier) and we tried to explain that and the reason we write detailed estimates and have the customer sign them is that the customer can review the estimate and make sure it includes all work to be done. But she was belligerent and demanded that we do it, so we did. The city never demanded us to hire an engineer, the city simply offered that as a potential solution to the dispute in between Texas HomePro and ***************** and provided us in engineering company that they have worked with before that we called and paid for to hopefully pacify ***************** and cost us $750.00 and we did this because we stand behind our work and already had an approved permit from the city stating it was up to code. The engineers report was invalid and the engineer was completely unprofessional and was unwilling to list actual building codes to justify his report as well as would never return phone calls or emails. The engineer also stated that the report would cost $250 but then refused to release the report until we paid an additional $500 which was never discussed. The engineers report was ridiculous and did not even cite actual building codes and mention things that were completely invalid for a patio or an outdoor space and he listed issues pertaining to interior space building codes and we could never get a hold of them to straighten the report out or have them justify their decision. Due to the report being invalid we just dismissed it and are under no obligation to release its findings to the homeowner. Also, we have attempted on several occasions to go out and fix the interior work as well as there are some crooked bricks on the brick faade that we were bullied into doing and we even had a crew show up with all new bricks to completely rebuild the column in question and the ************* was confirmed with ******************* and our crews showed up with $1400 in non returnable material and at the last minute she canceled for absolutely no reason and told us to get off the property even though we had an agreement with her to fix the work on a day and time that worked for her. Also it is worth mentioning that ***************** didnt have an issue with the work until we where 100% done with the project besides a few crooked bricks and some very minor interior touch up needed to be done. The patio is built to code and i have attached the approved permit from the city. This is simply a case of a customer coming up with reasons to not pay her bill. And due to the fact she is a service member and we have a satisfaction guarntee we offered to waive the balance in return for her to leave it be even though we would loose thousands of dollars which she agreed to via text message and then the next day decided she no longer wanted to honor her agreememt to us. We also did a free roof repair on her home to help her out. She has always spoken in a professional manner which we appreciate but her words and her actions do not go together. We have attempted in many ways to remedy these issues and have had Miss ******* approval and every time she changes her mind. This is simply a case of a project being completed well enough to be funtional and good looking and the home owner not wanting to pay the bill. Her demand to us was to literally tear the entire thing down and rebuild it even though it has been inspected and passed by the municipality with no issues.

      1) we have an approved permit showing it was built to code

2)we have text messages showing that the few small (legitimate) issues she had we tried to remedy but she would cancel last minute for no reason

      3) she absolutely bullied us into wrapping the columns in brick (see the quote, it does not state anything about brick but we did it )  (called immediately and VERY upset saying we where taking advantage of her and **** told her it was not on the quote)

      4) we can provided MANY customers who have had issues and we have resolved ALL of them through our warranty. We honor our warranty and do great work that is why we are booked out for months and months and why this is the only complaint we have received on the BBB.
