      I purchased two Groupon vouchers for $15 dollar each, when we had the covid outbreak and both me and my husband got it, I called the location in Rowlett to tell them that my voucher was about to expire, and we are still dealing with the after-effects of covid. I was told by the employee Breonna that they would honor the voucher whenever I came in. Went to the establishment to be told that that changed system and they could not honor the voucher. Ask to speak to someone else the general manager Stephen K****** came and said they could not honor the voucher but offered me $15 in pizza which I was very offended by. Then he said they posted on social media about Groupon, which I went all the way back to 2020 on their FB page nothing was posted. on top of that, there were others in front of us with a $50 gift card they told them the new system didn't take gift cards,they let them go ahead and bowl and the lady went and got an old credit card machine plugged it in to try to accommodate them. We have had several church outings at this location, and this is the service that we receive, I feel as though Mr.K****** had the authority to do what he wanted, he offered pizza which I told him I DO NOT eat pizza !!! I DO NOT have money to waste, I work really hard for my money !!!

      Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2022/06/30) */ I let the customer know Groupon would most likely refund or transfer her purchase (they had with done one with me, but mine wasn't as old). The Groupon she had purchased was beyond expired, we hadn't even sold Groupons since August 2020. We honored them until the end of April 2022. She also showed up at times when Groupons weren't even allowed per information on the Groupon. The young lady she referred to (Bri) hadn't even been employed at Rowlett Bowlarama for over 6 months at the time **** came to the center to redeem. Unfortunately, thanks to Covid, businesses everywhere have had to adjust company policies. I tried to offer compensation, but she wasn't having anything except her Groupon and was becoming irate and loud so I apologized there wasn't anything else we could do. Regarding the gift card, we still had a reader available from the previous system and were able to transfer their in-house purchased gift card. We had posted on our website about all gift cards and coupons ending date. Consumer Response /* (3000, 18, 2022/07/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This is such a LIER !!!! I NEVER raised my voice to keep down confusion. But that is something that he will have to answer for, they have lost a loyal customer, and our church won't be having any outing there anymore, GOD BLESS
