We hired a contractor to Renovate our Kitchen and Living room. Not only has he done a poor job, but he has also not completed the job given the timeline. The Contract Total cost is $42,300 and we have paid him a total of $35,300 with a balance of $7,000.00. On November 15, 2022, he was paid the first payment of $21,150.00, which is half of the entire cost of the project. On March 6, 2023, he was paid another $7,000. On April 6, 2023, he was paid $7,150.00 for a total of $35,300.00. We have records of all payments. The renovation was supposed to be completed no later than March 8, 2023. He has made many mistakes by hiring employees that did a very poor job, firing them, and hiring other employees to do the fixes. He hired two ladies that have been doing a good job so far to fix the mistakes that others made. Then decided not to pay them and stopped taking their calls.The ladies contacted us about the matter and my husband ****************************************** confronted the contractor about it and he tried to justify his reasons for not paying them.The contractor agreed for my husband to pay them the $1,900.00 he owed them out of the remaining $7,000.00 we were supposed to pay him on completion of the job. The plumbing work done by the contractor required us to hire Sunrise Plumbing to correct all the mistakes, which cost us $1,731.00. We have all the records of payment. There has been an unbelievable delay in the completion of the work. It was supposed to take 6 weeks to complete but has been unacceptably longer. His employees have been inconsistent showing up to do work with too many excuses including complaining about not being paid. On April 17, 2023, the contractor sent my husband a text message providing a schedule plan to complete all the work by Saturday, April 22, 2023, but only showed up on Tuesday and Thursday that week. The contractor left a pile of trash in our driveway for weeks and we told him repeatedly to get rid of it to avoid issues with our HOA. On Friday ApriInitial Complaint

I hired this company to do the cabinets and granite of the kitchen with a cost of $12000 after discount of $1000. The project should have finished by April but as of today the job is not completed. After we signed the contract on December and paid $6000 upfront we recived the first delivery late. We tried to work with this company and on April we bagged and asked them to do the job for us. He tried to take more money before he finished the job. On July 02 2022 he also asked to pay him $3000 to finish the job and if he didn't finish he will deduct $200 per day. If I don't paid I will pay him $200 as well. He came the next week of the agreed day which is 07/14/2022. He then didn't finish the job and disappeared. I tried to send him different text messages emails and phone calls which I didn't received feedback. He left the stove and oven space not fitted to the oven and microwave. We are not using safe to be in the kitchen as you see in the pictures and videos. I am requesting BBB to make the company finish the job. He should bring upper cabinets bookshelf wine rack lower cabinets with drawers and fixed the crowd mold. He took $1000 via money order and he said it is not cashed out. But the wester union requested bank letter showing that he didn't cashed out. He didn't provide the letter or refunded us our money. He is not responding any communication.
