Took my truck back to ******** because they tried to charge me $2800 for labor to replace a blend door actuator. which they said was causing my AC blower motor not to run. I had the blower motor and a resistor replaced by them in April or 2023. I took it to another shop and had the blend door actuator replaced for $481. It did not fix the problem, but when I took the truck back to ******** to have them look at the blower motor, he got mad because I didn't let him charge me $2800 to do it and refused to look at the blower motor or the resistor, both of which are under warranty. The blend door actuator isn't even on the same side of the truck as the blower motor, and the mechanic never touched them at the other shop. I want my money back from Jordans for the blower motor, the resistor and the labor cost.

Customer came in and stated he had come in 4 other times in addition to invoice #'s ***** and 51219
There was no documentation anywhere, The original service advisor could not justify his claim that he had been in 4 other times, so, I told him I would look at it at no charge and gave him the benefit of the doubt to see if his issue was related to the work we had done.

***** we did a fuel service and replaced a blower motor that was not operative. No documentation of a clicking noise at that time on paperwork.
51593 - I wrote up and diagnosed the truck at no charge for both symptoms.
There was a clicking noise from blend door actuator in center of dash not closing heater core door.
He returned after a few weeks and said he got the blend door done for under $600 but his truck was still shutting off and AC quit blowing.
I explained again that his truck is going into limp mode, when it does that, only vital operation systems will work, AC is an accessory, especially climate controlled AC.
I told him he needed to bring it to the dealer for that issue.
He became very belligerent and demanding calling me an MF, among other things and insisting i change his blower motor.
This was witnessed by another advisor
This happened on 2 separate visits, the last visit, I was on the counter myself, he came in just to tell me FU, your a d*** and I will have your job then walked out.

He was told not to return to our location.

All the work that we performed is working correctly, he has other issues with his vehicle that are unrelated to the work we performed.

I am rejecting this response because:

He is lying. I never called him a MF, there were no witnesses when we had the argument. He told me it would cost $2800 to replace the blend door actuator and I said that was ridiculous. I took it to another shop, there replaced it and it cost $481. This has nothing to do with the truck shutting off. That is another issue completely. I simply wanted the blower motor and resistor that they installed checked because the ** was coming on and off. He is a liar and he was mad because I wasnt stupid enough to allow him to pull the dash out of my truck to replace a blend door actuator that wasnt bad. Wild especially for $2800. The bad blend door actuator was by the accelerator and not behind the dash. I have the receipt for the work that was done and they never touched the blower motor or the resistor that was Installed before he ever came to work there. The blower motor is under warranty and all I wanted was for them to check it. When **************** found out  it somewhere else, he became livid and said, If they did work on your truck, Im not touching your truck. He is a liar and a ***** and I never called him a MF. He did tell me to, Get the f*ck out of my store though. After I said I was going to call corporate. He said, I am corporate, read the name on the door and get the f*ck out of my store.

I never said the blend door was your AC issue. Read the response. Your truck is going into limp mode, as stated on your receipt. I referred you to ****.

Your statements of what was said have no merit. Your only goal is to make me look bad.

All my recommendations are documented on the invoices. We checked your blower motor and there is nothing wrong with it.

As a customer, you do not have the right to demean or insult any employee at any company because you do not get want you want.

But I will give you this resolution.

Take it to a ************** dealer, have them inspect the blower motor. If they find any thing wrong with it, have the **** dealer replace it, have someone other than you bring me the receipt and my old parts and I will reimburse you for the parts only. You are not allowed on the premises.

I am rejecting this response because: I will not spend another dime to satisfy your bad business practices. Just because you say my words have no merit doesnt mean that they dont. You have no right to demean any customer because of your inability to exercise decent customer service and you have no right to lie about the cost of parts and labor in order to make money. Mine is not the only review that expounds on your behavior and lack of social skills

As far as not being allowed on the property, it would never occur to me to set foot on the property as long as your are working there. And since you brought it up, you dont need my help to make you look bad.

I reject your offer because it is not Fords responsibility to fix your problems and its not my responsibility to jump through hoops for you when all you had to do was look at the parts in the first place. They are under warranty. This problem is of your making, not mine.

On September 15, I read a response by *********************** that I came into his store on one occasion specifically to curse at him, call him a ****, and walk out. That is another complete lie. I would like to know if there are video cameras installed at his store so that we can view and hear his lies. He has made this whole situation up in his mind because he knows that the parts he installed do not work. All he had to do was check them out and he refused. For what it is worth, ******************* is a good man and the only reason he would agree with *********************** over a customer is for fear of losing his job. *********************** is a smug, unhappy little man that professes he is still the owner of the shop where he works. Maybe if the real owner was involved, there could be a resolution acceptable to both parties, but as long as *********************** is involved, there is nothing short of replacement and reimbursement for any work done to my truck at his shop or any other shop I have had to use to fix my truck due to his immature nature and refusal to honor the warrantied parts and labor his team conducted on my vehicle.  Respectfully, ****************************

I think this is a pathetic job that you wouldn't even take this to mitigation. This man obviously made no effort to fix a situation that he created. His first response offered nothing. His second one just ended up costing me more money. I went to the **** dealership, and they said the part his company installed was faulty. I paid for a new part and now the ** works fine but it cost me an additional $225. N ow I am out over $750 for the repairs because of his refusal to even check the parts he installed. He is a liar, he is a cheat, and the bottom line is, the parts to my vehicle that he repaired are under warranty and he is responsible to fix them. I thought this institution was supposed to help the consumer, not back up the businesses when they are clearly in the wrong. Your assurance to follow up on the business in the future is merely a way to try and appease me. Well, it doesn't. What is shows is I wasted my time coming to you in the first place.
