If you guys are looking for roofers, beware of Spartan Construction and Roofing. They replaced our roof last month and if zero star is an option, I'd give them that. We have been nothing but courteous with them despite the horrible experience with their subcontractors who ruined our plants, who were drinking while working on our roof, who then proceeded to dump their beer cans in our attic when they replaced our vent, broke our floodlight, and now left our property unsafe for our family by not cleaning up after the job was done. There were no protection used on our siding, our windows, our plants. We thought our windows will break from being constantly hit by falling debris! The disrespect and complete disregard to us and our property is something I wish you guys don't go through. Even our neighbors came up to tell us the crew were just on their phone most of the time and they reached out to us directly to let us know how poor the workmanship was as they watched them work on our roof. We've complained to the owner from day one, the Project Manager was responsive and polite, but no action was done to address our complaints. Their crew finished the work at our house on Sunday. However, nails and debris still littered our property by the Friday of the following week. We haven't been able to use the dog run for our pets, we haven't been able to do our own yard work because it was left unsafe with soooo many nails left on the ground. We were told cleanup will be completed Monday but no one came nor called us from their company. There were areas where shingles are not flushed, obvious gaps in areas where there shouldn't be any. Again, addressed it with the Project Manager but no one came to fix them nor has anyone contacted us to address any of our complaints. We're always the ones following up and initiating contact and them doing, nothing. At this point, we just did the cleanup ourselves. Bought a nail magnet sweeper, picked up and threw away the leftover debris. We can only hope and pray our roof holds up despite poor workmanship. Aside from picking up our payment, no one has bothered checking the workmanship and issues we addressed to them. Again, be very wary about this company. To all contractors out there, please take pride in how you do what you do. Life is hard enough as it is. Don't make things worse for people like us who needed your help and expertise.

After a hailstorm, Spartan replaced our roof. Harvey is super friendly and easy-going, and his office staff was very professional and diligent in working with our insurance on getting the claim processed timely and completely. Whenever I had any questions about any part of the process, Harvey and his team were always available to answer and transparent. Once we were ready to start the actual work, the work team was prompt in arrival and worked hard to get the job done that same day. Their work performance was excellent and passed all inspections from the insurance. Definitely would recommend Spartan for your roofing needs!
