Ive had to use this company twice, November 2022 & July 2023 for my refrigerator. In July 2023 my refrigerator went out during the HEAT wave (temps. Over 108 F. everyday) while having a 14 month old at home. I contacted Total Appliance Repair to send out a tech to take a look at the refrigerator. Tech arrived about a week later, opened the refrigerator door, closed it & within 2-4 minutes determined that the compressor had gone out & he would be ordering a new one. There was no update from them so I called *********** said they were waiting for Lowes to approve the part. I contacted Lowes within a few minutes & let them know that Total Appliance Repair needed an approval from *********** said they would approve it by the end of the day. I contacted Total Appliance a couple days later & they confirmed that the part had been approved from ************ went ahead & ordered it. They scheduled a tech to complete the repair a couple weeks out. Two techs arrived & asked me if they could take a look at the refrigerator before they brought out the new compressor from their truck. I told them that was fine, so they took out the bottom roll out freezer door & after 10 minutes of looking through it he told me that there was nothing wrong with the compressor, however the cooling fan had gone out & he needed to order a new one & it would take approximately 1-2 wks. The techs left & I called Total Appliance Repair & told them that I needed to speak with a supervisor, she said that there was no supervisor at that time but she would leave a note for someone. I explained to her what had happened, she apologized & said she would escalate the approv. I asked her if it would take 2 weeks again & she said no not this time. Four days later the tech arrived & replaced the cooling fan. This is the most unprofessional company that I have EVER had to work with. I would definitely not recommend using them at all if you can, & if you need to GOOD LUCK!

Had a service call for refrigerator not cooling for a $69 fee. Tech came out slid out fridge and advised of no freeone.. parts and service will be $400+ with a $150 deposit. I decided to have done the next day. However, my da decided to buy me a new fridge for mother's day gift. Not even an hour had gone by when I contacted the tech to cancel service with explanation. Per contract only the service call charge is non refundable. Bottom line the owner was money hungry and a LIAR. He stated that he would honor my $150 refund back to me, but clearly didn't. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. DID NO REPAIRS AND KEPT MY DEPOSIT.

He sent out a technician for a diagnostics of my induction oven/cook top.
The tech, open the top and looked in. He said the parts were not available
He never looked at the actual parts or check which part was broken. He then said the parts were not available.

Later, I spoke with Mr. P****. He said he was having personal problems and could not give me what I paid for, which was a proper diagnosis. He promised to call back, but he never did. He took my payment but never delivered the service.

He was argumentative with me. Like it was my fault or something.

I do not recommend this company for induction repair. Also, they have terrible customer service.

I ended up calling a certified Samsung tech who gave me what I expected

Stay away from total appliance repair. They took my money and did not deliver the service.

Mr. P**** is not a good person to work with.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!! On December 20, 2021 I contacted this company to come to my home and diagnose the lack of heat by my dryer. I gave the person the model and serial number of the dryer with the promise that they would bring all the parts necessary to fix the dryer. When the technician came, he put a temperature probe in the dryer and ran it for about 1-2 minutes. He then told me that the heating elements were all bad and needed to be replaced. He quoted a price of $429.00 with 3 month warranty. I asked him if he had diagnosed what parts were bad and he told me his service is to replace all parts and not any individual parts. I asked him again if he checked any individual parts to diagnose if they were bad. He repeated the policy was to replace everything. I then asked if he brought all the parts and I was told that he had the wrong heating element and would have to come back to do the repairs. At this point I told him I would talk to my wife about the cost and get back to him. Two days later I had a technician from GEEK Squad look at the dryer and diagnosed that the Thermal fuse was bad and replaced it. The cost of the fuse was $13.17 plus installation of $49.00. The dryer has worked ever since that install happened. The reason for this review is to inform people how disappointed I am with the service of this company. In my opinion, the technician had no intention of diagnosing the problem and was looking to overcharge me for more than what was needed to fix the dryer. I really doubt if he knew how to diagnose the issue let alone fix it since he did not bring all the repair parts as I was promised. THIS IS A SCAM! I am glad I did not fall for it. As a result of this company's poor performance and lack of professionalism, I refused to pay the service charge of $79.00. I only wish I had known about THIS SCAM before I called this company.
