My family and I were moving out of Texas to Oklahoma, I dropped my car(Chevy impala) off to have the alternator replaced, new battery terminals and new battery cable wire installed because the alternator was going out it was charging my battery too high and causing the wire to be fried and brittle it would break to the touch. Paid them $608 and picked up my car and attempted to drive it home to Oklahoma, car didn't make it 80 miles when I had to tow it home. When I got home I looked at the work they had done, they replaced the alternator so that was good. All they did was slap some cheap used battery terminals on it and left the same battery cable on it. They charged me $170 for the terminals and battery cable install which they never did. Called them to complain and see if it was a simple mistake but I was hung up on and my number was blocked. They knew my situation and that I was moving out of state and would not be back. Took complete advantage of me Another time before this that I let go when I should have reported them. I had them work on my f150 (sounded like flat tire when driving) they said front end axle is broke and needs alignment paid them $1000 to fix it, dropped the truck off at home( not my daily driver) 3 weeks later when I went to use the truck same exact issue. Had to wait a few months before I could afford to take it back up there to be worked on, when I took it back. They said the front end needed completely tore apart and it would need a new differential. Another $1000+ dollars. For the same issue. Both vehicles still have the same issues I paid to have fixed. I reported a claim to my bank Wells Fargo, and I've left them a review on google, I want other people to be aware so they don't get taken advantage of like I was.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/24) */ Hi Mr *****. Im sorry you feel this way. On your impala, you needed an alternator and new battery terminals, they weren't used battery terminals. We fixed the wiring on it. We don't do business like that. We actually lowered the price for you because Mrs ***** called and said yall were struggling a little bit because of the move. I understood and lowered the price on your bill out of kindness. I have looked through our phone call history and you never called our shop after you picked up the impala. Our phone system doesn't have the ability to block numbers. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The wire on my impala is the same wire that was on there before, you guys charged me $170 to change a wire you left on there. It's black and white on paper and it's very obvious that it's the same wire. Yes you guys gave me the terminals, doesn't change the fact you charged me for something you never did. And yes I did call your shop many times. I dropped the car off to have a new alternator put on and NEW BATTERY WIRE INSTALLED. It still has the old wire. You didn't do what I paid you $170 to do. You lowered the labor down $50 and gave me the used terminals on top, yes they are used, regardless it's on the paper where it shows what I'm talking about. Yes I was struggling with paying your bill that's because it shouldn't have been that high, especially when you only did half the work. You guys thought I wouldn't notice, completely wrong. I can show where I paid almost $200 for new wiring and I can also show where you guys didn't do the service I paid for. P
