06/08/2024 Contacted AAA in regard to a tow for my car was informed that I needed to pay $100 to get a tow truck sent out. I gave address to wear I was located as well as the location to where my car would be sent. I was assigned to *************** and I reached out to see is I needed to be with the vehicle for tow which they stated no. I also spoke to the drive to clarify the location of the car before she hooked it up, we spoke again once she arrived at my apartment to drop the car off and at that time, she stated it would be an additional $265 to drop my vehicle. I asked for what she stated that this is why she like to speak to the owners first because AAA never tell you that more fees are needed. I then stated I have spoken to you twice you never said anything about extra fees. She stated because I didn't want to leave it on the side of the rode. I informed her If this was relayed to me, I would have never used your guys. I have a tow lined up that was $185 flat why would I pay you $365. She stated it was theft of service and that if not paid it would be impounded with, they did and are requesting $1,350 for a tow. No one not AAA or *************** stated extra fees would be applied to my tow. According to her I was approved for 7 miles and afterwards I would be responsible for the tow. I would have had it tow to ******* which was across the street. I did not agree to this service, nor do I have money to pay for it. This is a simple shake down and I wonder how many other victims there are.Initial Complaint

Date: 8-23-2022 Called to have them fix a very minor load shift (4 pallets of chainlink) charged 4 times the expected rate but charged us $1700.00 for their 50 ton wrecker that they dispatched (we didnt ask for it) and he showed up to my driver and said that theres nothing he could do that the skid steer crew will be there in a minute to help and he drove away but charged us 2 hours at $850.00 per hour for a service they didn't do. Called to ask about the charge and they were very rude and no help and hung up on us. No refund. The process took less than 1 hour for everything else but charged us for 2.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/06) */ we are really sorry that you feel over charged as i explained to you on the phone there is a 2 hour minimum, we charge for any services that we offer. when it comes to the 50ton you referred the way your trailer was sitting the truck was sent out to make sure your trailer doesnt tip over to the side as it was already leaning so much while the skid steer was operating to fix your load. again we are really sorry that you felt this was we were just trying to safely preform our job that you hired us to do without causing any more damages to your property
