June 29. 2022 Fabian Arredondo of Fab and J Remodling - Signed contract to replace decorative outdoor columns and hardie board siding around garage. $2,200.00 check given to purchase supplies on June 29. Check was cashed same day at *** Grocery for cash. ****** manager stated materials not purchased under Fab and J or Arredondo. Numerous calls and texts over the last 140 days have had no results. On August 11 Arredondo ask for my address and stated by text he would return money. As of today - November 10 - no refund. Contractor does not answer phone, emails or texts. 6/29/2022 check to Fab and J for $2200 for materials. Check cashed the same day at *** Grocery - Pulliam St. Will start work same week. 7/13/2022 text to Fab and J - no response 7/22/2022 text to Fab and J - be there afternoon. Will call 30 minutes before arriving. No Show. 7/25/2022 text to Fab and J - in meeting - will head to me - No Show. 8/4/2022 text to Fab and J - on way - No Show. 8/11/2022 (Thursday) text to Fab and J - will be here on Tuesday - if not there will return money. No response from Fab & J 9/27/2022 text - ask for address. I have not heard from him since 9/27/2022. On 10/17/2022 told Fab & J that I would give til 11/6/2022 to refund the money or will file charges.
