Service performed was dryer vent cleaning for $85 with a coupon. Technician would not go on roof unless we pay $300 which we refused. The service he performed did not resolve the issue. We called another duct cleaning company and they resolved everything for $110. The issue was with the roof cap that was clogged with lint. Also GCA charged sales tax and should not have done so as this was a service done within the ****************. The service was performed on 9/7/2022.Initial Complaint

I paid to have my air ducts cleaned, I was even fine with a deep cleaning. What I am not ok with is paying for "mold treatment" when there is NO MOLD. My home inspector with Veteran's home inspections said that I have been scammed by this company and that there is no mold, the house was just inspected on 9/9/21 and no mold was found. He said I was swindled by a picture of "dust buildup." I paid for a false declaration of mold. I am asking for the money back for the mold treatment, planuom box, UV light and sanitize for the mold. My **** went from $129.99 to over $2100 and they got us because we were told we had mold, which was an all out lie. It was very shady and dishonest. My home inspector is Veterans Home inspections, ***************************, #*****, his number is; ************. Please call and speak with him if needed. My husband and I were duped because we are not inspectors, air duct people, etc. This is bad business practice and dishonest!!!Business response

You should ask ***** to do a mold test before the technician starts work. You agreed to the service according to what the technician showed you in the video recording from your system, and from the photos taken from your air system. Consent to the service, the service was performed ********************************************************************************************************************* the future. The technician left your home only after you and your husband were happy with the service he provided you. So it does not make sense that after the service has been performed you are looking for a mold test that was not requested from the beginning. The fact that your insurance does not cover the cost of the service you received, does not mean that we did not perform the service exactly as it should be performed, and everything was done as the technician wrote on the invoice before he started performing the service. And you signed and agreed to the service and paid at the end of performing the work on the service.Initial Complaint

08/12/21 Green Quality Air was sent out to clean all ducts, sent out by *********** Air Pros. Special was for $199 for total cleaning and on both websites they show you pictures of before and after. SAAP states they will clean all ducts, brush them out and vacuum them as well. GQA come out and does not clean one single vent but does an inspection of your A/C unit. GQA cuts open your air handler and says you have mold and your price is now $1500. BAIT and SWITCH because both website show pictures of how clean the ducts are after they leave and explains how they clean them, BUT never stated that there were tiers levels of prices. SAAP did say all ducts would be cleaned like the pictures they advertise. You call SAAP to complain and they **** it off on GQA, you call GQA and they **** it off on HR. Green Quality Air and SA Air Pros are the same company and are running a scam by advertising one thing and coming out and offering another thing. My air handler now leaks air thought the hole.Business response

The customer requested a basic cleaning service for his air ducts for a total of 129. We performed the service as required, and in the end we charged the customer only 97. The customer wrote some inappropriate comments afterwards on all the company's sites, about him saying we are an indecent company, I (the company owner) spoke to him directly on the phone and asked what the customer's problem was. The customer claims that this is not how the service is performed, I answered and told him that he can check with any company from this field exactly what the service process is, and if it does not find similar he will get his full money back. He said he would check. After a few days he again posted on our ads on inappropriate comments sites I called again and told him that this is the basic service for cleaning the air ducts, and so we and any other company perform. And more Misa I told him to get his money back the main thing to be satisfied. He agreed, and then he again continues to post inappropriate comments. The customer's problem we do not know, he received 100 percent service for the payment he paid. Only $ 97. We have an invoice signed in two signatures by the customer, who received the service and was very pleased with the same hype from the service provided to him. We will be happy to solve any problem with joy and understanding. Thanks
