      I terminated a lease with Marback Park on 23 July 2022. They finally sent me a move out statement on 17 Oct 22 via e-mail with an account balance of $3,131.45. The outstanding charges were: Rent $2,500.00, Late Fee $75.00, and Rent (again) ******. IAW the signed lease all of these charges correspond to the lease and I'm fully willing to pay. However, on ************************************** the amount of $4,268.95. The outstanding charges were: Lease Termination/Reletting $637.50, Rent ********, Late Fee $75.00, and Rent (again) ******. I replied to the email address: ************************************************** for clarification but no one responded. Then I contacted the office at ************ and spoke to the manager ********************. She stated the first statement was an error sent by her other office assistant. I articulated that the first statement directly corresponds to the lease agreement and would pay the amount minus the late fee since I just received the bill. I also requested the correct invoice with verbage that matched the lease agreement, not simply listing items as rent. She refused to assist. I also asked how to pay and she stated it was sent to a third party collector despite I have not been given the chance to pay any amount. I've called again but now she will not assist in any way, only stating that I will be contacted by the collector but would not provide me their contact information. I have the funds to pay and I want to avoid this being reported on my credit report. My true complaint is that this company picked and chose what to charge me with two separate bills, and is unwilling to disclose why. I have my military retirement orders that waives part of the fees, but ******************** does not want to hear from me. I'm attaching my signed lease and both final statements.       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      ******************** corrected the invoice once she learned of your inquiry.  Thankfully thats all it took.  She I paid the revised invoice and she sent an email stating the account was paid.  Thank you.

      The Marbach Park Apartments where I reside refuses to repair and/or replace my air conditioning unit for my apartment of **** in a timely fashion. The head office rep there told me they have 15 other tenants, some of whom are elderly or families with small children, who are also without air conditioning during the these peak summer months. I myself have been without air conditioning since 22 July 2022. I haven't received any firm date of when I'm to expect successful repair or replacement of my air conditioning unit. As of right now I'm 16th in line for this repair/replacement, while still being expected to pay full price in rent. The customer service I've received from the head office rep at the Marbach Apartments has been one disrespect and indifference. The head office rep tried to shame me into believing that I shouldn't expect the facilities of which I'm paying for to be in 100% operation simply because other tenants are dealing with my exact issue with the apartment complex. I have done nothing but be a good ******* of the apartment **** of which I reside in. The head office rep said the they wouldn't consider any of the terms I suggested in the hand written letter I attached to this complaint, of which are possible solutions to peacefully resolve this issue, if after a entire month they hadn't repaired/replaced my air conditioning unit.

      In April 2022, I decided to apply to Marbach Park Apartments. I got approved, but there were so many inconsistencies. The staff were not welcoming and when I brought in my money order, was told my deposit was a different amount. At that point, ******* had already signed the money order. I feel like she did that on purpose to guarantee the money. Anyway, I still went with the lease. However, my first red flag was when I asked to view the apartment, they said "We're not allowed to show apartments." I was in a desperate situation and needed to find a place due to finances. I couldn't just apply to another apartment with the time constraints I faced. So, I moved in. I was disgusted at the conditions of the apartment. They are unacceptable. Literally, a cornucopia of issues. Had they let me view the apartment, I WOULD NOT HAVE SIGNED THE ****** Everything from the A/C not working, refrigerator not working, black mold, broken cabinets, TOILET NOT FLUSHING... the list goes on. It's really sad to know a company allows this to happen. And the apartment staff are not helpful in resolving issues. They are somewhat Condescending. I do not want to live here anymore. If I cannot get the resolution I deserve, the next course of action will be going to the media and checking into the Fair Housing Act. I wonder if they gave me this apartment and it's conditions because I am African American and LGBTQ. I'm pretty sure you all can go home to a decent living space. Think about that. Would you allow a friend or family member to live in an apartment like this? NO. The pictures tell it all. Was the person's commission so important to allow a human being to move into a home that? The pictures say it all. Again, let me out of my lease or my next course of action is going to the media and checking into the fair housing act.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have valid evidence that the apartment was in terrible condition. I also have threats that was made by the property management and employees. I did not feel safe in that until health wise. An also my slide door did not lock. These people have coolest my tenant rights the moment I dined the leave agreement. Ive reached out to the apartment complex multiple time before filing the complaint. 

      I also have my mother in the same apartment complex an has been ther for 5 years an yet have they fixed her a/c unit or replaced anything in the home. 
      I would like to escalate this compliant and I have a valid picture an screenshot of the apartment communicating with myself an my mother. Very unprofessional while walking around properly with a gun on her waste. My mother is afraid of going into the office just to ask for help in her unit. 

      I did vacate the union bc my healt was getting bad due to BACK MOLD EVERYWHERE IN THE ***** Mostly the VENTS. 

      There was a rat investation in the building as well as roaches.

      I never had a pest control nor have they fixed anything in the until from the invatory sheet. I was told I have to wait even for a refrigerator that was broken when I moved in
