This is my first apartment ever and it was a horrible experience. I'll outline the main problem here. I noticed that I had itchy bumps appearing on my skin and told management to check for bed bugs. They did and found none. Then they did NOTHING after that. I had to figure out for myself that this was fleas. The property manager ****** even saw all the bumps on my arms and I really cant believe that in all her time of being a property manager she didnt think to check or even ask if it could be fleas, in the middle of summer, with stray cats roaming their property. But, after that once I found out it was fleas I told them and asked them to spray for fleas and they said that I'd have to wait till tuesday before they came in. It was Friday and not wanting to wait 4 days I hired an outside company to spray my unit for fleas. (they confirmed and saw the fleas) The apartment came on tuesday and sprayed but I wasn't there because I was at my parents house (not wanting to get bitten by *****). I came back to a note that said they had sprayed all floors for fleas and to wait ***** days for results. So I thought for sure they saw the bowl of dead fleas I had left out for them to find. I was wrong I found out 20 days later that the people who came in to check for fleas didnt find any fleas and the spray that they used was just a general spray for pest. When I asked why didnt you guys tell me that you didnt find any fleas ****** told me that they dont have to tell me if they found any fleas or not. (This was after I finally got the inspector to see the fleas I was talking about) I then asked her what happens if the flea problem doesnt go away after the treatment. She said that I would just have to live with fleas in my apartment until they went away. Keep in mind I do not have any pets and very little furniture. This infestation is all their fault. I dont know if this is legal but, it is DEFINITELY immoral business behavior. So please stay away from here they are scammers.

Beginning a few days prior to 05/09/23 *************** came in to the office to report bites & bedbugs to our leasing office. We followed protocol and informed him of the *********************** of such report for bedbugs. No one here in our leasing office is certified to analyze, confirm, or determine the nature of such bumps or bites that he presented. We had our pest companies rep go inspect the unit for Bedbugs as that is what was reported to us. On that inspection our rep did report NO findings of any Bedbugs in ******************** unit. However he did inform us that while inspecting the unit *************** did not respect his personal space & made him feel very uncomfortable when inspecting his unit. We had our pest control rep return to ******************* unit on 05/23/23 to inspect for fleas as *************** had called to now report fleas in his unit. On 05/23/23 pest control did NOT confirm any activity of fleas but did however spray the unit with a general solution for all insects and bugs & did leave a note saying that they sprayed for fleas. No flea bombing or continued attention was recommended at that time to us. On June 20th we had our pest control once again go out to ******************* unit as he requested another inspection regarding fleas. On this day our pest control rep did confirm activity but NOT infestation. He also relayed to us that *************** had began to collect fleas inside jars & dead fleas to show our pest control that there was activity in his unit. Our licensed professional did not confirm infestation but since *************** has confirmed activity in his unit we did proceed to schedule him with a flea bomb treatment. Following this ********************* *************** calls and reports us with the ******************* every day speaking with multiple reps if he doesn't believe his call is being escalated. We have had the City representative come & inspect the proceedings and situation and close out the ticket already twice in one week. We have other residents living in that building that actually own pets that are not reporting fleas or situations of this nature. We will continue to work with *************** following all ***************** to regain his satisfaction in addressing the issue until the remainder of his lease agreement.

I just would like to know why an apartment would not tell its tenant that when they inspected for fleas they found no fleas? And why they would leave a note saying that they sprayed for fleas? But no one thought to inform the tenant that they did not have fleas and that the spray they used was just a general spray not intended for fleas? But if my rent is due I'm sure to receive a notice of the bill. Am I just supposed to know that when your staff cant recognize flea bites? Also, no one is asking your staff to be certified on flea bites I'm asking a landlord to care for the well being of its tenants by INQUIRING about the bites and bumps on their arms and ASKING the tenant if the bumps are still there. And I am failing to understand how a property manager has never heard of or seen fleas and refuses to ask or to tell the tenant that when the inspector came they saw no fleas. Is your property manager incompetent? Or do they not care about the safety and well being of their tenants? Did they think the bumps would just magically go away on their own? Or are you guys going to cling on to the "we dont have to tell you if we saw fleas or not" does that sound like a way to build trust with your tenants? Outright refusing to tell them stuff but leaving a note saying you sprayed for fleas? Also it is laughable that you guys somehow came in and checked for fleas before I ever found out I had fleas. I went to the doctor on the 26th of may to see if I had fleas because remember just like your staff, I am not certified to I identify bites bites, so I went to the doctor to see if I did have them and that same day after confirming I did I went to you guys. So I would LOVE to know how me the TENANT informed you guys of fleas before I ever found out from a DOCTOR that I had fleas. And also of course I'm going to call the city on you guys to make sure you guys keep up with this because you refused to tell me until about 15 days later that you never found fleas in my apartment. Which I had to INQUIRE about because you guys left a note saying to wait ***** says later before I see results. And now I find out according to your pest control the fleas are coming from outside and jumping on people coming in or animals. So if you think your response to my review helped your reputation youd be mistaken. It only showed that you guys should not be trusted.
