I had a insurance claim due to hail damage in February 2023. I tool my 2022 dodge durango to gils for repair where he said that my car would go to a company by the name of 5 star so my car can get PDR and then after the work was done there my car would go back to gils so he can finish the rest of my car. The owner ************************ to me and never took it to the other shop. He tried to repair My vehicle at his shop only. I still have hail damage,I have missing parts and my paint is peeling and my driver seat is damaged while under his care. He kept my car for 2 months just to give it back to me incomplete. When I reached out to him he asked me to get other quotes from other shops so he can make things right. But now he refuses to answer.Business response

A quote brought in by customer was also provided from ****** complete auto LLC, written 03/03/2023 in no way did we state we would be taking vehicle to be worked on by this company as far as repairs to vehicle we had a written estimate with state farm for repairs we completed on vehicle as well as supplemental damages. Total on claim did not exceed $9,400.00. Vehicle was completed by **** auto works LLC customer inspected at pick up and was advised of lifetime warranty on paint only exclusion is rock chips customer left and week later came back with complaints on paint and we let her know we would be taking care of it she declined offer to get any other work done with us she wanted to take her vehicle elsewhere. She later came with an estimate from another company to repaint the whole vehicle, we let her know that would not be covered with us or our warranty unfortunately with all work being done we let her know it was something we would not be paying for unless she was coming back with us to get vehicle repainted. We will gladly work on customer concerns but to pay for a full repaint that goes over total of full repair paint and labor is something we can not take care of.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:That is not all entirely true. *********************** ask me to go to 5 star to get the quote for the h*** damage cause my car would be worked on by 2 shops. 5 star for the hail damage and **** for paint. I would of never taking my car to get a quote from another company if it was just to v wait 5 stars find time. You may call and speak with **** at 5 star auto hail @ ************** and he will also let you know the gils chose on there own decisions not to take my car to the shop and never informed me. I still have dents all over my car still. My paint is peeling and it's not from rock chips is from poor painting down at gils. The first estimate I took to ****** was from 5 star auto hail repair and Mr. *** said he would pay to fix my car but not from that business so I went to get another estimate that was much higher cause the body shop said the gils work was done very poorly. And while my car was at gils shop my driver seat was damaged. Me. *** told me that he would pay for my repair at another shop cause I did say I didn't want him to do the work since he didn't do it right the first time. He also gave me my car back with missing parts. And I'm still waiting for a back order panel part that he said he was waiting for that I guess has taken 9 months. I have estimate from 3 company's that see the wrong doing this company did to me and my car. I still haven't gotten a reply from ********** after trying to reach out to him for months about my missing parts. The repair/ repaint of my vehicle is needed from what these other business saw. I will submit the estimate from these company's and I can also submit pictures of my damage on my car that he did not repair.
