In regards to my complaint against Spitfire **** I.H35 ***************************************. ************. I would like a refund for unsatisfactory work that was "supposedly " done to my car. I will not bring my car to this location again.I did bring it in 3 more times for the same issue. I still did NOT get the issue corrected. I feel I was taken advantage of 1st because I am a woman and 2nd a senior citizen. I was treated very disrespectful and was NOT taken serious with my concerns. I currently want my money back due to unsatisfactory service and I having to take my car to another mechanic. The money is ******* is what I paid Spitfire.
Just an FYI I'm ****************** not Mr. *** need to know your customers

Mrs. ******* brought her 2007 ***** HHR to Spitfire because her Check Engine Light was on. We diagnosed the car and gave her Diagnoses with Estimate. She Accepted the Estimate and We performed the job. She came a few weeks later and said her light came on again. We checked it and it had a defective part which was replaced, and problem solved , vehicle was picked up. Later she took her Car to ************************************* due to her Battery light coming on, due to alternator failure, which kicked on the warning lights due to low of voltage. That is what Vara repaired for her; which was replace alternator. That is a separate System and Repair from what Spitfire preformed. Spitfire or anyone else could not predict Alternator Failure. These were two separate Jobs performed by two different repair Facilities. Spitfire is not at fault for Alternator failure which triggered the battery light.

Regarding my complaint. I took my vehicle in 3 times for the same issues. The last time my vehicle left me stranded on the road not even a mile from my home. ***** said my vehicle was fine now and would not leave me stranded. He is not being truthful.

1st the men who work there have always spoken politely. When they do talk to you they are friendly and possibly respectful. Why possibly, because they have lied and forgotten about me, time and time and time and again and again and again. I have been told I would get a call back with an answer to my question or an update and had to call back myself again the next day and or the day after that to get the same response. This has happened to me more times than I can remember. To give a perspective this has happened at least 20 times that I can say for certain and probably another ***** times that I have forgotten or let slide. This may seem like too much or that I am an annoying customer but my vehicle has been in their care for not 1 full year, not just 2, but going on 3 years.I understood that the job would have taken many weeks, even months, I forgave the delay because of COVID, and part shortage. But for the last 8 months I have been told my truck would be ready within the next two weeks, next week, later this week, the following Monday, this Friday, after the second coming of ******.After the initial diagnostic and estimate I paid half, lately I paid off the remainder. I go in person about once every other week to talk to someone face to face, I have now spent more time in that shop than their newest employees. Lack of respect or complete incompetency is what I see and feel. I would never treat my customers and clients like this. This is what gives mechanics a bad reputation. Please justify to me why this has taken place. I gave 1 star because their politeness and friendliness is top notch, but so is their procrastination and disregard for customer service. I cannot speak on the work they do because I HAVE YET TO GET MY TRUCK BACK. Hopefully their work last as long as the time I have to wait. My teenaged son could have finished this faster working only on the weekends and between rounds of fortnight, to include watching all ******* DIY videosBusiness response
