ISSUE: Truck will not start when cold. According to the salesperson, the manifold, plugs, and boot ignition wire needed replacing for $833.00. I accepted their diagnosis to proceed in repairing my truck. It took them a few days to complete the repairs. I was patient, because they found the problem and I was anxious to get my truck back. However, the initial problem was still present. The first couple of days it started up, as it should, but these days were warm mornings. So, I called Cambridge advising them they did not fix the problem, they were paid to do. After several visits in taking my vehicle back and forth to the shop I was told it was going to cost another $900+ to fix the issue so thats when I decided to bring my truck home . I gave up with all guessing games I was convinced they didnt know what the problem is. When I arrive to pick up my vehicle I noticed a small puddle beneath my truck and my engine light turned while on my way home. Upon arriving home I tried to turn my vehicle on and it would not start even with a jump and a lot of white smoke from the exhaust which was never an issue to begin with. My truck had always been in very good condition other then the fact it would not start on a cold morning. Now, its absolutely in worse condition from the day I drove it in. I was offered a free oil change but I didnt trust them nor did I believe I would get full synthetic oil so no thank you. Customers should be **** we pay for their mistakes. All along they were trying to upsell me, which is very annoying to me. How about we fix the issue first! Also I should mention, I was told the manifold had a hole in it, I asked to save the part so I can see the hole, but ironically the manifold was misplaced.
