We had our patio extended by Alamo Concrete Contractors (*******; sole owner and operator); and now are trying to have our patio covered.I stated to ******* at the completion of the patio that there was a visible slope to which he replied this is normal.Unfortunately, the extension of my back patio is approximately 1 inch of a slope per foot. The standard should be a of an inch per foot. When you measure the end of the patio extension bordering the grass, we are looking at an approximate 3-inch slope which is unacceptable. This has prevented future contractors from properly putting down the tile needed to cover my back patio. The patio is not consistent throughout the entirety of the patio. Due the work performed by Alamo Concrete Contractors; the tile cannot be laid properly due to the amount of slope on the extension of our concrete patio. The owner, *******, has been completely unprofessional and unwilling to fix the job. The contract we signed states we are covered by insurance for up to one year which we thought meant he would have to fix the inadequate job performed. We had the work performed on March 29th and completed on April 1st. This has been an extremely stressful situation as the owner of Alamo Concrete Contractors refuses to cooperate in a professional manner and makes any conversation very hostile. He has hung up on us with every phone conversation we have tried to have, along with screaming and yelling because we are not happy with the outcome. The photo attached shows the slope from existing patio to the extension provided by *******. If u want good quality work with pleasant customer service, please look elsewhere.

I did the work in four days and **** paid me in full, and she said she was very happy! And would be recommending others to my company. We parted ways for six weeks and she called me in distress stating that her floor company said the patio was done wrong. I responded by telling her if they would put it in writing that I would consider replacing it. the other company declined. For over 20 years Ive been doing concrete patios and never once has anyone complained. Its unfortunate that she takes their word over mine. The floor company needs to stick to flooring and leave the concrete up to me.

I was not very happy as I stated to ******* that the patio looked slanted and uneven. I will provide additional pictures sure that uneveness. I did not decline giving a written notice of the issue and I wrote up exactly what the tile contractors explained to me as you will be able to tell in the pictures. The extension is not laid out evenly across and can only be fixed by cutting the concrete on one side and adding more to the other. I also never said I would recommend him because I felt his communication skills were awful and he did not call people to arriving. I also called him in a calm manner explaining the issue and ****************** was extremely hostile and explosive because he knows his work was inadequately done. The patio will have to be fixed in order to be covered with the tile due to Alamo Concretes poor job.
