On 10/2022 I entered into a contract to have a Townhouse built by UrbanLux. I gave $2,500 security deposit check to *************************** (President of the company). and a secondary deposit of $21,399.50 wired from The ******* *************************** to ************************************* with specific instructions from *************************** in November 2022. Construction was to start in March of 2023 and then of August of 2023 . As of today nothing has been done and *************************** will not return calls, text, or emails. This man is a fraud and as February 2024 has relisted the property on HAR. Unethical real estate practices. Buyer Beware. To Date I am the second person he has done this to.Business response

Customer has been sent termination of contract paperwork. As of this response it has not been signed. Buyer is receiving their deposit back.Initial Complaint

I contracted to have two townhouses built at *********************************************. I gave a check for $5,000 (**** per unit) on my ************** account written to ******************** to ***************************. The check cleared. Construction was to begin March 2022. In October 2022 I spoke to ******* because no work had been started on them. ******* told me he had not secured a builders loan for this phase and he would reimburse me my deposit. I never got a refund. I have called, texted and emailed but no reply. I have tried to get a response via the *********** office with no response from them. I have all the documentation of these attempts at communication. And the texts with ***************The properties that I bought continued to have for sale signs at least through 2022. I had to move out of the area so I dont know the status today. I had to move in with friends, family and now corporate housing waiting for this to resolve. I would like to have my $5000 money refunded and to have some assurance that I am no longer financially responsible for **************. During this process my appointment with their decorators, Two Sister, was canceled by them. They said it was due to not being paid by UrbanLux.
