This is a very long story. Please see the uploaded pictures for a full description as it is too long to fit in ***** characters.Date of Transaction: July 5, 2024 Promise: A king bed delivery to my house on August 16. Then August 30. The bed has still not been delivered. The business has stopped answering my phone calls and text messages. ************************ is not responding to me at all. He has called ID and is ignoring me. On May 13, 2024 I made a purchase of a furniture piece with this business and was promised delivery within one week. Payment was done thru Zelle per the business owner. After 1 week had passed I followed up with the owner and was promised to give him a few more days to have product delivered to my home, I was even told by him I will personally deliver yo your home. Days passed and I wil call to follow up with the same response, even one time I was told the truck delivering the furnitire is on your street tp wait for delivery by a certain time, I waited all evening and no delivery. I called again and again I would be told you will get the furniture on such day that the furniture was in the warehouse in *********** and would be delivered tje next day, Followed up again as no delivery of furniture until I requested a full refund on June 3, 2024 and was told to provide with my email to receive the refumd by zelle the next day, it has been 1 week since I requested a refund and up to date I have no furniture that I purchaed and paid in full for and no refund. There are several complaints to this business of the same nature and nothing is done to investigate or close this "business". I expect a full refund or I will be obligated to take legal action on this matter as this person ********************* has been giving me the run around, he just takes your money, treats you as if he has gained your trust and never delivers what is promised. Just yesterday he sent and email to the supposed warehouse to request my invoice to be cancelled and for my restocking fees to be waived and that the furniture would be placed in the store. What restocking fees? If the piece I ordered was never delivered to me. I expect a resolution to this problem as soon as possible.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: the complaint with this business is after a month if waiting and saying the furniture would be ready and now according to him I can pick up Friday, I have been told this before, what happens if I go and the furniture is not there? He himself on Sunday sent an email with my invoice to the jrimporting email he is refering too and asking for my restocking fees to be waived why is he now saying that I have to do that when hes already done it and has said to wai for my refund thru zelle. Also, what does he mean by sales are final, what sale? If I was promised the furniture weeks ago and was promised delivery and never delivered it. What did he sell to me them? That he hast provided to me. At this point I just wany my refund as he has promised and according to him which he has already processed and I am still waiting to receive.

I am rejecting this response because: no I havent because you did that yourself on Sunday June 9, you sent the email with my invoice and requested for it to be cancelled and that by Monday I would have my money deposited to my account and now your instructions are for me to send the email. How am I sure if I do that my money will be refunded??

The business has known I wish to cancel my order and that I want a refund. *** sent an email as advised today.By when will I expect the business to resolve this issue and have my refund? The business has known since last Monday that I want to cancel and I was advised that the money would be deposited via Zelle since last Monday and nothing. What guarantee do I have that the business will resolve this issue? As I have been given the run around from the business, as I mentioned before if not I will be obligated to take legal action as I dont even know how this business is operating with so many of the same complaints.Business response

******/owner has made false and empty promises of delivery of merchandise that I paid in full. Want a complete refund immediately. Tried so many times to have delivery of my merchandise. Owner stopped responding to message and has not reimbursed my purchase in full at all. He tried to charge me 40% restocking fee when he does not have the furniture on hand. Purchase made 4/1 - via Zelle and Debit card purchase. He on several occasions indicated a time of delivery and we have stayed at home cancelling everything in order to receive the delivery that he knew would never be made. Based on other reviews on line and with the BBB, he has done the exact same thing to so many other people and will continue to do this until the state of Texas stops him. As of today, he would not write a check to refund my purchase because he would have to charge me 20% cost.Business response

For several days Majestic furnishings receives calls from maria and husband every 3 minutes asking for un up date on her delivery, the invoice clearly indicates that once the furniture arrives in *********** Driver will call consumer to make appointment for delivery, A refund will be send to consumer according to the invoice number #****

I am rejecting this response because: 4/1/2024 I asked ****** if he was the owner. He stated yes.On 4/1/2024, we made a purchase of a dining room set. Second order of bar stools. I specifically asked ****** if the bar stools do not fit, if we can return. He responded stating we can exchange them - further stating we have 1 year guarantee on the products. This is the only reason why I went ahead and placed the order on the bar stools. ****** stated we would have the furniture on Tuesday which was 4/9/2023. There were 3 of us there, my husband, daughter and I. Neither of us recall him stating it is a "special order". He made us aware one set was in ********** and another part in a different state OR something of that sort. Nor did he indicated it would take 3 weeks. He indicated we would have on Tuesday.
4/10/24 I phoned asking for update. ****** stated that we would have a call on Thursday (4/11/2024) from delivery to set up an appointment. No call.
On 4/16/24 I phoned ****** and Majestic Furniture for update. No answer either ******'s phone or Majestic's phone. Sent a text to ************** was to receive a call back on Tuesday with delivery time. Still waiting. Copy of text interchanges between ****** and I follows.

On Saturday 4/20/2024 received following text from delivery phone number at 6:32 pm : Good afternoon, we have a delivery for you from Majestic furniture, we are a little bit behind on our deliveries. We will notify you 30 minutes to an hour prior to us going to your area.
At 9:46 p.m. I sent a text "What time are you coming?" and remains unanswered.

On Monday 4/23/24, spoked with ******. He indicated he would (for the 2nd time) personally retrieve the merchandise and deliver it to me directly. He stated he sent a text message to personal router in the store delivery warehouse to bring all his stuff back and would go personally with the driver to deliver it and get it over and done with. Asked until 12 and would give me a call back or XXXX back. Should be back by 12 and would call me to make deliveries. Asked if we would be the whole day and I reiterated that we have been here (home) the entire weekend waiting. No return call.
I phoned at 1:22 p.m. 4/24/24 as I had not received the promised call back. He indicated the merchandise was being assembled and would deliver it 3:00 p.m. He even indicated that he was given me a specific time. He would leave his establishment at 2:00 and deliver at my house at 3:00.
No phone call no delivery. At 3:21 called again. No answer. (Then sent above text.)

Monday 4/24/24: My husband sent ****** the following text:
Hi, l waited yesterday till midnight to receive the furniture, just like we have so many days before based on your information that the delivery will happen and it didnt, Im tired of your lyes, if I dont receive my furniture ******* the next few hours lm going to go to your store and you will give me a full refund, l can not trust you anymore.My husband went to the store for resolution. After waiting, he was given option for refund to card. My husband indicated to reimburse via Zelle as partial payment was made through Zelle. ****** told my husband if he writes a check to reimburse he would have to charge us 20%. Next thing he knows, ****** took off in a vehicle without saying a word to my husband. My husband asked an employee what happened and where did he go. The employee indicated he went to go get the furniture.
My husband then receives the following picture of a highway and a text stating: "Va a ser ms de 30 minutos"
No delivery of merchandise still.
There are many more phone calls to ****** and Majestic furniture on my behalf to attempt resolution and a truthful answer. He, personally on the phone stated more than once that he would personally get the furniture and deliver it himself. We stayed at home waiting for countless hours for this furniture. NOT EVEN A CALL to excuse himself for not showing up. We as a customer should not have to be following up on ******'s expressed commitment to actions that he did not fulfill.
Unfortunately there are so many other complaints - almost identical in nature - as ours online and within BBB on this store and also ******.
He indicates he will reimburse the invoice. I want in writing the date he will reimburse AND proof that he processed the reimbursement in FULL.

I am rejecting this response because:For obvious reasons, I do not trust this business to provide additional personal information.
There were 2 transactions. 1rst one via Zelle payment. 2nd one via Debit transaction.
I phoned the bank. Due to non delivery of merchandise, the bank was able to place a reversal from Joalso Furniture for the amount charged by debit.
Left to receive is reimbursement for my Zelle payment to S R Majestic Furnishings. ****** has my phone number and e-mail address and also has my husband's phone number and e-mail address.
Reimburse the remaining $500.00 via Zelle - which is the manner in which I paid it originally.

I am rejecting this response because: The last response from this business was for us to e-mail with card information for refund. Now a retraction?Reiterating, my husband went to the store after being assured the furniture was to be delivered that day (Tuesday) at 3:00 p.m. by ****** himself after setting up the furniture at the business location. No call no show for about the 3rd time that same weekend (not including previous promises of delivery).
At the store he indicated it was either the furniture at that very moment or the reimbursement. ****** told him he would reimburse us by card. Requested a check (which ******'s response was to charge us 20% for reimbursing us via check) or Zelle payment. ****** just left the store without telling my husband anything, was allegedly getting the furniture. First received a text from ****** with a picture of a highway indicating it would be over 30 minutes (to arrive/deliver). NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO TEXT, NO FURNITURE - AGAIN.
My husband again texted him for an update. ****** responded stating to look at his email. Received the included attachment which is the invoice stating "VOID". This is his response to having us once again waiting at home for the futurniture.
I have asked, due to ******'s noncompliance, SEVERAL assurances of delivery dates, his word that HE HIMSELF would deliver the merchandise, and specific time of delivery, to refund our purchase price.
NEVER have I agreed to waive, or accept any cancelation/void of my order at less than full reimbursement. Majestic's last response to this BBB complaint was to e-mail credit card information for refund.
I am owed $500.00 now. As stated previously, my bank has an open reversal for the transaction made by debit card. $500.00 was made via Zelle payment first. Requesting, again, full reimbursement of this in the same manner of which it was paid - Zelle.
To reiterate: I am not paying or agreeing to 40% restocking fee, or 20% charge for ****** issuing a refund check. Of note: If ****** had the furniture to deliver it in the first place, we probably would have had it and this complaint would be non existent.
Again, pointing out to previous customer's filed ******************** complaints, this complaint is no different.

I am rejecting this response because:Once again, the business failed to deliver the merchandise on SEVERAL dates. They had us waiting at home for DAYS for merchandise. Was this also part of the contract? Does this mean the business will not ever have any accountability? ALL promises of delivery were not truthful.
I do not owe restocking fee. Refund is in order.

I purchased a dinning room *** chairs from ****** the owner of Majestic furniture he on February 5, 2024 he delivered and the next day the chair when I sat the **** broke . I. Called him he ask me to take it to him. *** February 20th and he will not exchange the chair for me, he accused me of stepping on it and breaking it. Why wpuld I do that?! The other os another chair o purchased from him and he said he wpuld order the broken legs and now he is just ignoring me . He is a terrible business man who male promises and then gives his clients the run around so we get tired and let things go But he took my money *** now all o want it my chairs replace or my money refunded . November 15, 2022 I placed an order for a set of bunk beds, 2 dressers, a chest, and a twin mattress. I used snap to finance the furniture which was almost $3000. He said my furniture would be delivered within the next couple of days. We are now at December 21st and I have yet to receive anything and have lost contact with the owner of the store. On December 9th I decided to file a claim with snap. I called the store and sent a txt to cancel the order and I received no response. **** reached out to the owner and he specified that the furniture had been released. To who he released it beats me because I have not received anything and I will not continue to pay for something and ruin my credit with snap due to his scamming self. Snap will try reaching out again to get this resolved however I dont appreciate him lying and saying I received it. This was to be a Christmas gift for my kids. Ordered furniture several thousands of dollars. The owner ****** kept avoiding the deliver of the merchandise ******************************************************************** baCk my money . He asked me to text the 4 last digits wou of my account . I did text the last 4 digits SeverL days passed . The money was not placed in my account he lied. Then I went to furniture place asking for my money. He said he would deliver the merchandise. When the they were delivery the merchandise I brought it up owner attention wrong merchandise. The sectional was cheaper I believe **** I paid **** and tax. My Granddaughter headboard was 799 then we decide to change the item to ****** bed. He owes me the money and merchandise is broken I phoned several times . He did not bother to exchange the item .so ii have bed frame broken .the sectional has hooks that hook on to the chase which it has 2 chaises theydid not hook on . The owner ****** and his son told workers to drill several holes to make the chaise hook on. So the wrong sectional has several holes and it's the wrong sectional . I did tell them to take it back but they refused. The workers that delivered said they are crooks. Reason I making this report so it won't happen to someone else.It's not right what they did to me. I bought marble table they brought me these cheap chairs. ****** the owner put it in writing that he would give me mirror to my dresser for free.when they were going to deliver it . Since . I brought up all the things that were wrong. So they refused to give me the mirror . I have paperwork stating ihe mirror was free. Then he gave me a receipt thaT he was going to refund my money. He did not refund my money. It was all a lie . The receipt stated the sectional was on back order which he never told me. I bought merchandise in June and the wrong furniture was delivered.
