There's a major issue with the operation of the bowling machinery at this business, and it has been going on for years. Usually, when someone participates in bowling, after they engage in their turn, their bowling ball is supposed to come right back to them. However, at this place of business that doesn't happen. A customer will engage in their turn to bowl and the ball won't come back to them; instead the ball gets stuck and/or the bowling pins get tangled, so they constantly have to come to me or my associate to ask us to retrieve their ball from the back room. This happens every 2 minutes and ultimately customers aren't getting their money's worth. Now, when we go to the back room to either retrieve a customer's bowling ball or untangle their bowling pins, we have to climb up to this platform, which has active machinery turned on which isn't even covered with something to prevent an employee from accidentally coming into contact with it resulting in injury. We have explained to management that this needs to be fixed, and offering temporary suggestions such as remaining in the back room for extended periods of time to monitor the poor performance of the machinery that way customers don't have to come to one of us to inform us that their bowling ***** and/or bowling pins got tangled or stuck in the meantime while it gets fixed. They have ignored multiple employees' alerts on the matter and have made no efforts to fix their machinery. We hosted my sons 8th birthday at The Colony location on 8/19/23 and the experience was so disappointing. First off, in triple digit heat, we were denied a cart to bring in all our party supplies. Therefore, my husband and I had to make multiple trips to the car to gather our things to bring inside the party room. We were first told by the smug manager on duty, ******, that they were all being used for other events, we spotted one that was not being used, we were then told that they dont allow their carts outside. Secondly, everything was chaotic. Our food arrived so late that we had to rush to eat before being moved out of the party room. Due to this, we never received everything that I paid for. Per my invoice party guests were to receive a gelato sweet treat it was never brought out. I paid for an Unlimited fountain drink package for 15 and the drinks were brought out so late that we never even had a chance to get a cup! I asked about it twice only to be told that we have to be out of the party room at a certain time. We were not accommodated even though my party was all there ahead of time and THEY were the ones running behind. My son also never received his future gaming card that was promised on our contract. There was little to no direction for our party group. We were scheduled for Laser Tag first. There was a group of people inside playing, another group in front of us waiting to go and a group behind us waiting to go. While my party was standing there waiting for our turn, the group behind us started getting impatient. I explained what was going on to them which in turn caused this huge confrontation in front of my guests. My party host was nowhere to be found. Had there been a representative there to explain to the other group what was happening, that situation could have been avoided. We had 2 of our guests leave the party early because they felt uncomfortable.Customer response
