  Start time Monday, Oct 4th 2021. Iron fencing 6ft high with gate operator (solar). Amount spent $13000. There was a delay because I needed a variation permit. Project was completed approx Mid January 2022. I paid him the 2nd half. Gate worked for a couple of weeks. He and his workers have been here many times, He is unreliable and irresponsible. He does not return calls. He has switch batteries several times and that works for a couple of weeks. He has said he will be here on certain day but does not call or show up and its very hard to reach him.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  

  On Sept 5 my sister called him because gate would not open. He said he would stop by .  But, of course he did not show up.  The gate finally opened slowly late that afternoon.  I closed it at night and it did not open the next day. My sister called Mr ********************** and  during the conversation he used the *** word.  My sister said he was very angry. (I reported this incident to SAPD).  His coworkers did come by and fixed it.  The battery was dead and didn't recharge.  They replaced battery.

   

  I have asked him several time to convert to electric.  He said there would be a charge to convert. The  complaint I have is that I should not pay for conversion if the solar gate never worked properly.

   

  Today, Sept 14 I called him this morning because gate did not open.  He did answer and said he would come by and hung up on me when I started to talk to him about converting to electric. He sent his co-workers they opened the gate manually and left without talking to me or working on the gate.

  I am not going to work for free. The job was completed with the solar that was p[aid for.
