In October, I notified Alamo City ***************************** that I had found black spots on the charm I purchased from them and emailed a photo of the charm detailing the black spots. They said they couldnt see the spots. The spots were clearly visible in the photo. The charm hadnt been out of the box that they originally sent it to me in or worn by me for months due to my health issues.Alamo ***************************** pressured me into having to make decisions at a time when I was dealing with health issues and experiencing extreme pain. Decisions that were not time critical. Conversations and email communication with their employee, ********, and her bizarre statements caused me to not trust Alamo City ***************************** and hesitant to mail the charm to them in fear that the charm would not be returned to me or replaced. I feared losing the $298.65 I paid for the charm and the charm as well.I asked during a phone conversation with ******** if the charm could be run under water to see if the spots could be dislodged. She said yes, but not to run the charm under water forever.I found that comment bizarre.******** alluded that I had done something to cause the black spots to appear.I hadnt had the charm out of the box in months. Had not worn it.******** told me that opening a can of soda while wearing the charm could damage it. She went on to list other activities I shouldnt do while wearing the charm. I asked about when I could wear the charm without impacting it and received more bizarre answers. October 27, I received an email from the owner of Alamo City ***************************** stating harshly and nastily that they were through trying to work with you.Since that leaves me with a charm that has visible issues and spots that the manufacturer wont address, I request a 50% refund of my money, $149.33, so that I can pay another jeweler to investigate and address and clean the charm and maintain the charm in the future.
