I purchased a home from 181. The house is a **** *********** and I am paying more for the home now than I would have brand new. However that is not the point, The home was delivered with a water heater that is rotted and rusted out on bottom so when hooked up to water, the entire floor was soaked. I have been reaching out for 2 weeks to get this problem resolved to no avail. The home also has no electricity in half the rooms of the house. Not only could the house catch on fire due to hot wires lose no telling where, it could potentially harm my family and I. The home did not come with a crossover either, which is the piece to connect ac/heat from one half of the house to the other. We are currently living with no hot water, no heat or air, as well as no electricity. I am a single mother with 3 kinds and after paying as much as I did on this home, I expected these things to be taken care of in a timely manner and they have not. It has been a month at the very least. My family shouldn't be waiting any longer. I have been begging for the past month for these things to be addressed to no avail. I was not only asked to commit fraud to make this purchase go thru but I was lied to from the get go by *****, ***, and ****. Although ******** has been doing her best, she cant do it alone. ******* has to take responsibility for treating me this way. I will not stand for this kind of treatment from them any further.Business response

The home that was purchased was a 21st Repo which price is dictated by the lender which cost of refurb and ending balance from the previous owner. We ask that every customer makes a complete list of items that *** need repair so we can get an approval from the Lender to service the home. Once the items have been repaired and a final Service letter it is difficult to get another approval for additional items. This is the first-time hearing about the Water Heater not being in working order. The other items listed as well has to be approved by the Lender. We will Expedite the Service Request and get the Service concerns handled in a timely manner. We apologize about the inconvenience, but we are at the Mercy of the Lender. ******** will reach out to you directly on Monday to give you an update when someone can complete the additional service requests. We appreciate your patience in this matter and rest assured we will get you taken care of.
