When I went to the doctor's *********** they charged me 160 dollars for the co-pay for my visit which is 160 dollars. Then when I look at the claim it showed me that the claim was for 306 dollars and all I needed to pay was ******. Trying to figure out the break down of what happened.Initial Complaint

The clinic prescribed Semaglutide to me by mistake, after having my labs in their possession. They told my I was clear to take it and then after ******* it up, taking two injections they told me I was not clear. I want a refund and a personal letter of the potential damage to my health this action on their part my have caused. The ** that prescribed has not even returned my multiple calls to the clinic.Business response

This response will have to include information from the medical record to show that the patient is requesting to increase the dosage of a medication. The practice is not comfortable with his current health conditions. He is also currently working with our clinician on the same complaint. Please have a HIPAA form signed by the patient so that I can release medical documentation.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The complaint is that I was given medication that I was told I had *** cleared for and later I was not cleared because of labs the clinic already had. So, you gave me medication I was not cleared to take in the first place according to your clinic. You should not have told me I was clear to pick it up and to do the injections if I was not cleared . The clinic had all lab results and still gave me the medication. I was told if I was not cleared I would get a full refund. This is the clinics mistake not mine. As far as increasing it that is beside the point I failed the labs and should have not been prescribed the medication. In the first place. Please read the original complaintRegards,

I am rejecting this response because:I reject the offer to release my medical records because the information I provided is in fact accurate. Basically I was promised I would be refunded my money for the medication if the labs did not warrant my receiving the medication. I was called about my labs and told to pick up the medication. I was told later only after I contacted their clinic that I did in fact have labs that were not good enough to even be taking the medication. So, I discarded the medicine only after two injections because I was told I should not even be using it. It's interesting that I have never even been contacted by the nurses practitioner that the clinic passes off as a medical doctor. In the clinic's last response they said they were working on a solution. I have not even heard from them at all only if I contact them and then they have no reasonable resolve. Thank you!

This started in September of *****. I went to Vita Life Wellness for a routine check up!!!! BILLING PROCESS IS HORRIBLE!! I received a SURPRISE bill from Quest Diagnostics for $2,000. When I questioned the bill they sent me back to Vital Life. Then Vita Life was trying to send me back to Quest. I informed Vita Life that I did not consent to the labs that were taken. The lady became argumentative with me, but said she would re-file my insurance with the appropriate code (lies). The Office Manager assured me this would be resolved (lies). Did I know some labs were going to be taken...yes, but someone could have presented to me the fact that I may end up with a $2,000+ bill and let me decided how I wanted to approach this. I am in GREAT health. The labs were all for preventative purposes. I did not "need" these labs. Yes, my doctor ordered them, but, again, the staff should have informed me and let me decide. Now I have been sent to COLLECTIONS FOR A BILL I WAS NOT EXPECTING. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, NO ONE FROM VITA LIFE IS HELPING ME, THEY ARE ALL TALK AND NO ACTION! I HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE **************** OF STATE AND HEALTH SERVICES. THIS IS SO WRONG!I ALSO HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER THAT WENT THERE AND IS ALSO STUCK WITH A RIDICULOUS BILL. What they did was very deceptive, they did not give me any notice whatsoever of the labs that being taking and the potential for a bill. It was a complete surprise. A horrible surprise. How many other patients is this happening to?Business response

I have requested a refund of the $425 I was charged on July 16 for allergy drops. The medical office is mishandling a lot of things and I did not feel comfortable proceeding with their medical services. They did not have the allergy drops ready or mixed and they kept messing things up. They ordered syringes for me when these were supposed to be drops. I cannot get through to the front office. I have called mult times, emailed the office manager 11 times, I have messaged in portal, & I have messaged on their website (more than 7 days ago). Their website isn't even updated.Business response
