The car was turned in a couple of months ago to get repaired. It had several issues. When it was turned over to the shop, I was insured that the car can be fixed. Several payments have been made on several occasions:July 12, 2023: $500.-August 08, 2023: $ 800.-September 21, 2023: $500.-I was told that the car was still not running and that I needed to pay another, additional $500.- to get it fixed. The owner of the shop then threatened to sell the car within the next 30 days (from 6 December 2023) if he doesn't receive the money.Initial Complaint

I took vehicle for transmission repair in July of 2021. I didn't receive til April 29th 2022. I was given receipt at begining with total amount for parts and labor. I paid for parts but was told I can pay for labor when done. After paying for labor and an extra fee for a new battery that I was told car needed. We picked up car but was never given a receipt showing g I paid in full due to printer not working. I was told it would be mailed to me. Minutes after driving car from shop check engine light came on. So I returned to shop. I called but like always could not get **** to answer phone. I have no way of going in his business because he locks everything up. After texted messaging **** about car. I received text from him next day saying he would work on it after I get it inspected. We'll inspection expired while in his care those 9 months. It will not pass inspection now with check engine light on for a job he did not complete.
