I was having issues with my vehicle where it was automatically shifting to neutral when I was on the highway. Because of how this could result in a deadly situation, I took it to the dealership **** to prevent an accident while the vehicle was under warranty. The service advisor said it was fixed, and I experienced the issue the same day. Called again, and again fixed and encountered the issue again. Finally, in August of 2023, they said it would be needing a new transmission and of course my warranty expired in May, so they would need to get this approved since I didnt expect to pay anything. After months, the transmission is approved, and minimal work is done. Long story short, I get a call in August of 2024 that the advisor has lied the entire duration and no approval has been obtained to install a new transmission. ONE YEAR LATER. After them telling me, I would have to pay for this, they agree to pay for the transmission and have it done in a weeks time. My vehicles value depreciated by $8000 just sitting there. I get the car back today with a little more than a quarter tank and a service alert notification. Its ridiculous. At a minimal, fill up the tank and detail the car? Since the car has been sitting for a year, I asked if there was any kind of warranty, but of course, only on the transmission. Very poor customer service in my opinion. With the whirlwind and lies this past year, I dont think I would make another purchase with Land Rover again even though they are usually my go-to. Extremely disappointed

Okay, so Im not sure if these guys are criminal or just plain incompetent. I had my 2015 Jaguar towed there after my only key was stolen. I chose them as the closest Jaguar dealership and because they told me, on the phone, that they had the keys in stock, so I expected some quick reprogramming and a bill for $750-$1000.After sitting around from about 2pm until almost 7pm, constantly being told it would be looked at any minute, I was presented with an estimate for nearly $7000. This is from an authorized, main, Jaguar Land Rover dealer on a huge, impeccably presented lot with a clean, well stocked customer waiting area. A main dealer I chose because I knew how complicated Jaguar smart keys can be, and that they required some know-how and the correct diagnostic equipment. Exactly what I assumed a main, prestigious Jaguar dealer would have over a local locksmith.I was told that, on top of the new key & reprogramming - which, to be fair, was quoted at roughly $750 - I would need a new control module, fuse box, and 5 hours of labor = $6800 and some change. Obviously, this meant handing the matter over to my insurance. Long story short, Progressive were not keen on footing the bill and connected me to a locksmith who specialized in higher-end cars who gave me two new smart keys and a working car for about $750 in less than an hour! What I would like to understand is: were Jaguar San Antonio deliberately trying to rip me off, like criminals; or are their techs just complete morons who dont know how to work on the cars theyre trained on? The whole mess left me without my car for a week. Because I was stupid enough to trust an authorized main dealer.Ps - after the locksmith fixed it for me, I called Progressive to triumphantly cancel the claim, and the happy assessor told me Jaguar SA were complaining that Id authorized them to order keys. Yes, the keys theyd already told me they had in stock.

When a vehicle is locked and both keys are lost/missing, JLR requires us to replace the modules as well. This is due to a built-in safety feature of the vehicle. In order to access the vehicle when locked, we have to 'break in' and the modules recognize this, and the anti-theft feature is enabled. It causes both modules to become inoperative in the case that someone is attempting to steal the vehicle. We presented this information to the guest, and he approved the keys and modules to be ordered for repair. The ****** are cut specifically for the vehicle and are non-returnable. While there may be aftermarket options, these are not supported by the factory.

I been taking my 2012 Range Rover of San Antonio. My engine light has been coming on even after I've taken my vehicle to them numerous times. They would normally lend me a vehicle while my vehicle was in there shop for service/maintenance. ***** said he would get me a rental and its been 2 weeks and no luck. They never call me to give me updates on my vehicle, I always have to call in. I been paying for parts that has nothing to do with my engine light. I paid over 15K just in one year on parts that have nothing to do or that are damaged.

Our insurance director contacted ************** with the police report information and let her know our insurance is going to handle the loss. We understand that they did reach out to her, but I am not aware if she has called them back yet. Thank you. ***

Please disregard my previous response. It was meant for a different customer at a different dealership. For this customer's review, I'd like to let you know that the service director is working with the customer to have his vehicle brought in for an additional evaluation. He is working with his wife's schedule and will let her know when he would like for it to return.Thank you, ***
