Purchased a Louis ******* bag and was assured the item was authenticated through a 3rd party they pay services for. I paid over $1700 for the bag on layaway for 6 months. Sometime in 2022 a cobble ring on the purchased handbag broke so I took to the Louis ******* Store at ********** mall to have repaired. Dropped off the bag and submitted pertinent information upon its return I was told by store manager the bag was not authentic. You could imagine my dismay and embarrassment that I paid a substantial amount of money for an item with guarantee it was authentic. I went to the Money Mart **** store to be told it had changed management and they did not have store records prior to new management. I have made numerous phone calls to no avail of information of who to contact and rectify the situation.
