Company made call to Dementia patient and sent DME hip equipment she did not authorize but only told them her hip hurt at time. No DME equipment has been found in home and they sent a ****** **** which I consider elderly abuseBusiness response

To Whom it May Concern,
Elevate DME only processes legitimate prescriptions that are received by a licensed physician. However, if the patient wishes to retum the brace(s) then of course we will take it/them back. In such a case the patient has no further financial responsibility.
In the particular case you referenced we have already refunded ******** and have reversed the claim.

I am rejecting this response because: No DME Equipment was requested, and ************************* has Dementia and lives with Daughter in Law whom has confirmed no package delivered or received in home. A throughout search of home was also completed and no DME for hip found. I also spoke to ******** at Elevate and advised agencies that Both Cherokee Nation, BBB and Cherokee Nation ******** ************** report on company was submitted to *************** ******** reported on phone today that she would Flag account and the ****** **** would no longer be sent to the Residence related to Dementia and Possible pending Elder Abuse related to repeated calls to residence asking questions about what hurts her.
