I was going to rent an apartment from them and they had me pay an admin fee of ******. I looked at the apartment on June 4,2024. The smell in the apartment was so bad it made me sick. I contacted the property on June 5,2024 and told them that I was not going to rent the apartment and was told that I could not have my money back. No one told me that this admin fee was not refundable before I made the payment. I want them to refund my money.Business response

******************************* applied for the apartment using an on-line application. Please review the attached application. The last section is our Terms of agreement. **************** was approved, and then decided not to move forward. He was shown several units. The paperwork he signed does state all application fees may be non-refundable. Please refer to paragraph 7.Initial Complaint

Our ac isn't working and we've put work orders in and they said no they aren't going to fix it until we lower our fees that we have on file. Yes we pay our rent on time the fees are due to them tacking the on after the renewal of our lease. So they said they will not fix our ac, my wife has renal cancer and I deal with singles and it's so painful it's too hot my skin *****, being in a hot apartment with with no central air is very hard to deal with and it's hard to breathe and the smell is unbearable only Because there is no air circulating only our fans. It feels like we are in a sauna. We don't know what else to do. We need help.Business response

*********************** who does reside at 515 Humble #*** has placed a complaint about AC repairs. Per the ***** Property Cod ******, we have no duty to make repairs when rent and fees are past due. As of today, the November rent is not paid. Reviewing the resident's ledger, there are several months where the resident's rent was paid short. The resident has not paid utilities as required in the lease since Feb. 2023. As of today, the resident owes over $3200. We will be happy to make the requested repairs when **************** has paid the past due balance.

I rented a home from this property management firm in ***********, ***** for 13 months. Everything seemed to be great. I paid my rent each month, on time, as required and the firm was responsive to the few repair ************* in the home. Then I gave notice, vacated and had the home professionally cleaned before departing. I communicated each step of the way with my direct property manager. About a week after I vacated, I emailed the property manager asking about the return of my security deposit. She immediately responded and stated that the home was indeed left in excellent condition and that my deposit would be released back to me. Another month has passed and I do not have the deposit retuned to me. The property manager has stopped responding to my emails, and Ive made multiple phone calls to the property groupall of which have gone unreturned.This is extremely frustrating. Im a business professional who spent time in *********** for employment. I met all requirements necessary to receive my deposit back and submitted ample notice of my intent to vacate the property. I was told, directly, via email from the property manager that my deposit would be refunded. More than 30 days have passed and ** still fighting to get the money Im rightfully due.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.The company has reached out to me to settle the issue. Our landlord refuses to fix our ac and is retaliate against us for putting work order she said our unit was vandalized clearly as pics are enclosed along with the harassment proof and refusal to fix it she has tried to strong arm or bully is
