Upon moveout from a leased apartment, the deposit was returned with a large inventory of damages that fell under normal wear and tear. Additionally, there was listed damages that were present on the initial move-in inspection, that the landlord did not address, but charged to me upon my moveout. I've been in continuous contact with the, providing the details. But was told that the reported damage on the move-in inspection was not applicable, yet the pictures of the paint spots was identical to the reported damage on the move-in inspection.Business response

Good morning,
*************** to the complaint submitted from **************** on the property **************************************************************************; *****. This property is managed by ************ and ************************* of Keller Williams Heritage. **************** submitted 3 pictures he claimed were the pictures on move in. I have attached more pictures taken by the property manager and the contractor addressing the paint issues at tenant move out. There are many more pictures but these 5 out of about 20 show the walls were in terrible shape with scratches, holes , dirt, etc.. The property manager provided a detailed account to **************** on the charges from the contractor(s) along with these pictures and many more.
I can also provided the email of all pictures, invoices, and Security deposit accounting. Please inform me who to send to and an email if it is necessary to do so.
Thanks, *******************

I am rejecting this response because:I was not asking for the re-imbursement of the entire repair bill, ONLY those related to the paint and holes. I accept that they do deep cleaning and between tenant work, and while technically I think that too is against code, as those types of actions fall under normal wear and tear, but I'm not contesting that here.
I only have contention with the fact that I'm being charged for repairing holes, paint and spackle that was pre-existing originally and that I had to live with as "accepted" by them for the entire time of my stay there, but now I'm being charged for them as being "unacceptable". This truly showed to me that their care was not in the state of the apartment for their tenants but as an avenue for greed.
In the pictures noted by me in this, I was actually offended that they sent me pictures the same spots of what I previously reported and then indicated that I was to pay for it.
Regards,

Upon moving into the property it looked as if the previous residence just moved out. There were holes in the walls uncut grass and also missing cabinet doors. When I moved out I cleaned and pictures were sent ,they decided on top of the 250 cleaning fee they would take another $250.Initial Complaint

I was misled by a realtor from Keller Williams Heritage that resulted in me personally losing $1215.19. I would like to be refunded for these costs since this was money out of my pocket that I would not have spent if I was told the truth upfront regarding repair costs for a house that I contemplated purchasing from a Keller Williams Heritage listing. On November 28, 2020, my ********** looked at a house for sale at *********************************************************************. The listing agent was *******************. **************** told me, my wife, my ************* nephew that the home's roof would be replaced prior to the sale. As there had been recent hail storms, this became a huge factor impacting the purchase of the home. I took ******************** verbal assurance as truth & went forward with the home purchase contracting procedures and costs. I wound up spending $1215.19 in services for the purchase process. ($534 for home inspection, $500 for the VA appraisal, $100 for the non-refundable option fee & $81.19 for the pest inspection), I am attaching receipts for these costs. 2 weeks after the initial home visit when I was told that the roof would be replaced, **************** surprised *********** realtor (*********************) with an email (that I have attached) stating that there was "a miscommunication between the roofers & the insurance company" & that the roof would not be replaced. To me, this is a "bait and switch" tactic where my ********** were seriously misled leading to a major change in the viability of the home and purchase. Yet, I had already spent all of these costs. It also led to an acrimonious business relationship and the home became *********** compared to what was advertised. The house wound up appraising for 10% less than asking price. The sale did not go through because of this & I was out all of this money. I would like to be refunded for these costs. This is bad ********************************* should not mislead consumers like this. I had a serious case of COVID in 2021.
