      I had an appointment scheduled at 12 on Monday June 24th. I walked in at 12:09 due to a traffic jam and was told to sit and wait for an associate to assist me. About 8-10 minutes later I was asked what was I there for I stated I had a 12 noon appointment for my yearly eye exam. She stated how the doctor may not be able to see me due to me being late and they only give 5 min grace ******* It was stated I wouldnt have been seen at 12 noon if I was here on time because the doctor was running behind with his other patient which is why they wanted me to reschedule because it would cut into the lunch time which is not my fault if I was here on time or not I wouldnt be able to be seen at my scheduled time. The doctor was still in service with the previous client so I would still have to wait and it was always cutting into the lunch time. She stated how they had lunch coming up and would be able to reschedule for 2pm . I feel the motive for wanting to reschedule was to cut off an appointment so they can get to lunch on time which is a huge inconvenience to me. I was 9 minutes late to an appointment and couldnt have been seen which I explained i have a very busy schedule and I cant just come back and I need this exam because my glasses are broken and I need my glasses to see. I have never heard about being turned down due to being 9 min late. Some jobs dont even consider 9 minutes late. This is very frustrating and unprofessional. The store manager name was ***** and the associates were named ****** and ****** very rude

      I made an appointment over the phone using their prompts, for the **********, ** location. Booked it for 12:40pm. Was there at 12:30, and a lady took my info and ask me to be seated someone will be with me shortly. In the meantime I see their workers going back and forth. Some tending to customers others not. 45 minutes later, a worker whom I've seen going back and forth, who I saw tend to one customer earlier, called my name. He ushered me into a dark room where there was a young lady already seated. He asked me several questions to which I answered. Mind you I am already disgusted that I was seated way pass my appointment time. Then he ask would I like to get a test which examines the back of my eye and cost $19.99, because it's not covered under the insurance. I said no because I waited so long and wanted to be done with the eye exam. The young lady whispered something along the line of "he can't afford it". To which the guy said, you know you're the first one to say no to the $19.99. That infuriated me because it was nothing but an upsell and totally inappropriate. I just got up and told him I did not like the statement he just made and left the establishment. BTW the lighting in there is subpar, had many lights that burned out all over the showroom, hard not to notice that while one is waiting. Never again will I visit a Vision Works store, never.

      Ordered glasses for my child. Its been 5 weeks I still dont have them. No one is communicating with me. *** been told there was a problem at the lab after 3 weeks of waiting and nothing else since. Appointment was 5/2/2024 today is 6/6/2024 still no glasses no GM has called me back nothing. School and testing are now over and insurance only pays for one pair a year. So I guess I have to pay out of pocket somewhere else now? The worse part for me is there is NO COMMUNICATION! Theyre avoiding me completely. I guess I will hear from them if they ever call and say the glasses are ready.

      I make an appointment about a month a go and they never told me anything about bring the details of my insurances. And now my appointment was yesterday 5/17, and they **** me as a no show. And a lady name bridge canceled the appointment. Now they cant see me because of the mess this lady dis not share with me they day i did the appointment and yesterday when she call. Im furious i have a procedure next week my eyes iis not doing good a d i was looking forward to this appointment. Im so upset why is my fault to bring something when NO ONE TOLD ME. Now i have to wait until next week. This place is Visionworks ***************** ********************************************** Horrible and now im stress and upset and now wait for next week ?

      The Vision Works located in ********, ********, has very poor customer service, to start. I personally had to ask 3 times to get my script written for single vision and then it took getting laughed at to get it. And them telling me the place I was ordering from didn't know how to read a script, yet a friend of mine who went there also, they didn't get her script right, so obviously they can't even read a script! I have never in my life been made to look like such a fool by not only the desk people but the doctor himself.

      I had ordered two pair of glasses 7 WEEKS AGO, and have yet to receive them. I was told that they would be in within two weeks. For the past five weeks, I have been calling every couple of days for an update and I keep getting different excuses ("Oh, we forgot to send in the frames", "I can't access the website to get an update", ect...). I have a ticket open with customer service which hasn't seem to help. I've been waiting for a district manager to call for a few days now. DO NOT BUY FROM VISIONWORKS!

      I have been visiting this location for years. I take my entire family in for our annual eye exam and order our glasses online through another retailer. Vision works (along with so many others) are at least five times more expensive than online. I have been doing this for so long that I am aware that I need our pupillary distance. My daughter and I were seen three weeks ago and the Dr provided it. My son was seen over the weekend and now they are refusing to give me the distance. I cannot believe that Vision works would risk my twelve year old's eye health for profit! They are aware that we are buying glasses elsewhere and would rather lose customers instead of providing needed information. It is a shame but I am leaving this practice due their greed.

      It got one star only because it was open. Made appt. Got there 15 minutes early. They said they are 3 hrs behind, it i like i can come back. I said ok came back 1hr 1/2 later just in case. The lady said someone canceled so they took the next person have a seat and your next so we sat. Then the manager/ eye doctor passed by i asked how much longer he said he didn't know. Came back and said i needed to reschedule. I said my child needs her glasses. He said there is nothing he could do because i left. I said she said i could he said he didn't say it. Now it was too late on Saturday to get another appointment. This was at *********************************************. Id rather pay cash then ** my benefits there. ********************* thats the name he gave me 3/16/24

      I visited Vision Works in *************, ** on 2-10-24. The exam was fine. When I went to pick out some new glasses, I was ignored by the employees until I had a pair of frames. I was billed and when I got home and reviewed the bill and noticed it was much higher than it should have been with my vision insurance. I went back the next day and was told by an employee that it was right and I had to pay 500 before my insurance paid. I left and called my insurance company and they said the total claim amount I owed after insurance was much less than what I was billed and that I should get a refund. I went into the store to request the refund and the employees very rudely told me that they couldnt authorize a refund to me as they dont put the numbers in their system. I again called my insurance company and they said the claim is what vision works submitted and Vision works had to refund me the money. Never again will I go to Vision Works in *************.

      2/3 *****, we went into your Visionworks to get the prescription glasses. One week ago, we had an eye doctor with LensCrafters, but we think because my son wants to get a pair of **** brand glasses. We decided to get our glasses at your Visionworks. I think the Visionworks has a lot of selections for glesses frames, even we have a prescription from your competitor LensCrafters. 4 years ago, I had glasses with you. I got the distance glasses instead of the reading. It was too late to get the refund. At LensCrafters, last week, we spent about one hour( two people , myself and my son) to get a vision annual check, and within 10 minutes the lady at the front desk gave us a quote of the full prices for our glasses with lenses in a quick response . 10 minutes there. We were happy with her, especially I love the frames she suggested. On the other side, here at Visionworks. Yesterday February 3 , we went in the door then I texted my husband on my phone, it was 12:42pm. We went into VisionWorks around 1 pm , by the time we stormed out the door, it was 3:00 PM! We had stayed 120 minutes. we were there with Mrs. ***** for almost about at least 70 minutes. I was very patient at the beginning. When other customers surrounded us, had left the store . something was not right we were still inside-almost empty customers. Mrs. ***** seems very knowledgeable, but she seems to have a problem with the small computer screen. She claimed that the front did not put the vision insurance. she had to key in twice for my address and other information. She then said the order information was gone.I think she had tried three times. I recalled, firstly, she was nice to ask how to pronounce my name, I said my name is ***. she replied back to me, nice to meet you Feet. Secondly, she tried to combine our two invoices into one payment. But what I wanted is to have the detailed information. Please make sure your employees are trained, especially for your computer systems .
