Hired Diamonte Coatings for a large repair ($20k). They change ordered me another $15k for $35k total repair. This was 3 years ago and included cutting and removing 2 entire walls from my home, replacing, and then seal and crack. One entire section of that wall has completely fallen off my house and the other is cracking and separating exactly where it was cut as as well. I also have another spot on a window sill for a large picture window that they painted that is completely cracking away and is damaged. I called them to come fix it and they said they do not warranty any stucco work and would be happy to do another quote. This is ridiculous for this cost of repair and it failing exactly where this company “repaired it”. And they don’t warranty THEIR work at all. I asked the lady to leave my property. I have had other companies come out for estimates and they have all said it was not repaired correctly by Diamonte and wasn’t fastened correctly, one in fact was scratching his head wondering what the heck they were thinking. Almost all their review ps are for painting, STAY away from big jobs or stucco work. No clue how they could possibly have a good BBB rating. We have retained legal and will be pursuing action against them to get a refund for faulty work and damages to pay for someone else to fix their mistake.Business response

Original Contract on this Project is dated April 2018
To provide a proper response to the allegations made by a former client; Diamante Coatings, Inc. would like to be given the opportunity to clarify certain details from the above-mentioned event.
Diamante Coatings has completed a multitude of projects both residential and commercial, many of which have required either minimal or substantial repairs as a direct result exacerbated by improper maintenance and or original construction deficiencies.
In reference to the installation of stucco or stucco related venires, there are many issues that can cause a menagerie of stucco concerns. Problems such as structural movement, plumbing deficiencies, roof leakage, hail damage, freeze and frost, high humidity, improper wood framing or window installation and the flashing, exposure to water intrusion via sprinkler systems and/or wind driven rain are only a few of many possible circumstances. When this happens, repairs must be made to these conditions to alleviate any visual damages on existing stucco. However, these are only intended to address affected areas, to further restrict potential adverse damage to the stucco venire. Furthermore, any repairs to affected areas can only be warranted as to the materials and the workmanship for the newly applied stucco at the time the repairs are made.
Diamante Coatings offers a warranty for one year on all completed projects. We professionally respond in a timely manner to all calls to evaluate new or past projects. In this case, had we been given an opportunity to properly assessed the true cause of any damage, and not told to leave the property, we would have been able to work with the homeowner and detected any known or potential issues. Consequently, the visit resulted in a waste of time and yield an undetermined conclusion. Furthermore, this project was performed on or about April of 2018 and we were not made aware of any known or potential issues until recently, in September of 2022. The project falls outside of its warranty period.
In retrospect the original contract in April 2018, Diamante Coatings was contracted to complete a custom exterior paint job for the entire residential home including the stucco, iron work, wood trim, soffits, facias, pony walls, adjacent stucco trim, exterior doors, and other attachments. The amount of the contract was for $22,800 in total, which a portion of that was to repair the stucco venire deficiencies. The exact portion was written as a “contract change order” for $5000, which covered the effected wall. Mr. ***** had been given advice as to the status of the remaining structure. It was our professional opinion that further repairs would have been necessary as per the observation of many more stucco deficiencies. Client persisted in only repairing the current situation at hand.
