On May/29/2024 I (***********************) took my 2006 Scion xb to Gene ************************ Transmission from another auto shop ****************** for a full timing chain replacement parts and service. Gene Brown transmission- manager- ************************* quoted me a better price 2253$ and reassuring that they can do it and have my car working great. They asked for a deposit of 1000$ for parts and to get started. Then after getting some updates and bad news about my transmission and of other things they found ( which Sun Auto where my car just came from and been checked many times never mentioned, P.S Sun Auto can corroborate) the balance due was not 1293.00$ it was now 2058.71$ a total of *******! I took my car back on June/06/2024 then the next day (Sunday) my car would not start. Under the hood I found they had poorly and incorrectly attached the battery to a painted terminal. Other things I found were missing Windshield Water Container Cap and bolts. I took my car back to their shop to correct this problem thinking they would immediately see the problem and fix it. ************************* looking in the hood next to me could not see the glaring issue with the battery or any other issues with the condition they turned in my car. I explaining the problem and ************************* started getting rude and arguing that it was OK and saying this just is how it is and to be grateful and stop blaming him. Taken back by the rudeness, he told me he would get back to me about missing parts but as of now I have received no calls or updates from the owner. My car also has multiple cameras pointing front and back and in the footage I found they abused my cars transmission by over revving the engine while parked in there shop. I also recorded the conversation when I confronted the shop owner about my car battery.
