I went to buy a car I know nothing about mechanical things but I believe the salesman It was selling me a good car, as I drove the car for few miles the check engine light came on I called the salesman right away and sent a picture of the check engine light on I told him I was scared had just signed paperwork on it and it was already giving me problems he said dont worry its under our warranty and the ********** warranty just bring it over, today was my day off and I took it while I was there I told the mechanic that my back wiper wasnt working either, they sent me home and like 3 hours later they called me to go pick up the car and that I needed to take it to ********** because it was under their warranty And also that the wiper was not one that car should have thats why It wasnt working they just put whatever to sell the car. I spoke to the manager there and he was rude and didnt help me.Business response

The vehicle in question is still under the manufacture warranty. As we are not a ********** dealer, we offered to take the vehicle to a local ********** dealer at our expense. The complainant refused that offer.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
I went to take a loaner car from them but they didnt tell me I was supposed to give them a credit card they said it was so if they need to charge something, so I told them I dont have a credit card and that I was going to get a card and would reschedule. I just dont think i should pay for anything since the check engine came on since the first day I drove it. And they didnt tell me the car was crashed and they didnt inform me of that, also that same day I went for the loaner I told them to switch the back wiper with the new wiper they order they did do it but when I asked if it was work They said yes its working and it is not working they just lied into my face honestly I dont trust them anymore they just lie about everything. I talked to ************************ about this how they were lying to my face he said either you do it how we are telling you or you take it to do it yourself and he kicked me out of yhe Nissan threatening to have me scorted out im just scared of them nowRegards,

We were willing to work with the complainant, however she was unwilling to accept responsibility for the fact that she signed all disclosures knowing the condition of the vehicle. We offered to have her car taken to the ********** dealer at our expense and labor. The complainant is failing to mention that she brought the vehicle back wrecked and that her son punched and broke the radio screen as well. We went above and beyond to help the complainant..Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
I didnt **** the car they sold it to me like that with a loose bumper I even asked *************** why was the bumper loose and didnt respond but I honestly believe I was buying a good car I went to what I thought it was a respectful dealership only to find that the ripped me off I had great respect for Nissan not anymore they took advantage of me not knowing anything about car buying and the stereo I take responsibility for my son did punch it because he was mad at me. He is sick but I dont have to disclose that information to ************* that would be a hippa violation. I took the ********** to Nissan two weeks later after I had just bought the car and the gave a paper with their diagnosis but told me they would not fix it that same day I called ********** they said that the car had red flags due to vehicle had been crashed before so the warranty is limited thats why Nissan does not want to fix it and want to to give them my card to charge the fees for fixing the car.

The reason why you guys are so willing to fix it is because you knew the vehicle was wrecked and did not inform me. It was wrong and all im asking is for you to do the right thing and buy the vehicle back.

The complainant signed the CarFax report showing the minor damage reported. We offered to buy the vehicle back and the complainant refused our offer. Once a complaint was filed with the **** we have made the decision not to pursue any additional resolution until the *** investigation resolved.Customer response

I am rejecting this response:I found out from ********** the car was crash in the front with a tree and the Insurance told me this car has a claim so no its not minor damage and I didnt refuse for you to buy it back as a matter of fact I have a text where I told ************* I wanted for them to buy it back but ************* said that since Ib a filed a claim with the *** Nissan was not interested in buying it back.

Currently have a case open with Nissan about a warranty / Lemon Law issue, Case # NIS2439750. During the time the dealership had the vehicle for service, they wrecked the vehicle. They repaired the vehicle, but cannot guarantee that the repair will not show up on Carfax. If it shows up, of course, will diminish the value of the vehicle. ***********************, who is handling the case above, advised us to open a local case for the accident.Initial Complaint

Worst experience ever buying a car. I bought a brand new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder from Cavendars 6 months ago. Within the first 4 weeks, they had to replace my entire oil cooler, reset my electrical system due to no acceleration, and in that process they broke my radio completely. It took them 61 days and a threat to a lemon law lawyer to give me my car back. I finally got it, and within 6 weeks, my car died, and my fuel pump was bad. That was another 5 days in the shop. I have now had my car back 37 days, and it smells like it is over heating, and there is oil all over my driveway. I have emailed the *** the service manager, and service advisor multiple times. I have asked over and over for them to trade me out, and buy back this car, and they refuse. I have contacted Nissan Care, and they denied my claim. I have NEVER in my entire life been through an experience like this!
