      Have a brand new 2021 Durango and dealership sold this Zurich shield ceramic coating on whole vehicle. I like my truck clean as it cost a lot of money to own, couple car washes and there are swirl marks on whole truck. The dont cover that I was told even though its on the ceramic they sold. Now I have scratches all over on ceramic which as far as I understand is supposed to be a film. Turns out they use regular ceramic spray which is a gimmick all in its own and now I have scratches on a truck thats a year old

      We are sorry to hear about the swirl marks.  Our product comes warranty that covers specific types or damages.   Unfortunately, scratches are a listed exclusion.

         When speaking to dealer who sold you product protection as a protection for you paint with ceramic so anything that happens you are cover, they were utterly surprised that what they have been pushing on your description of quality coverage covers nothing they were told it does. Sales man even went on his time and looked in to it, under false advertisement of you product and the money it costs to add you protection to a car to find out this package you paid for actually doesnt cover anything on you car except and I quote from Zurich shield customer service bird droppings or tree sap. Under the assumption I was given a ceramic protection and you guys are so confident in product my car it cover, to find out these are only thing you will cover which is t advertising on any of the flyers in dealer because this package would then never be sold has no cause me to have paint correction and real ceramics put on in the cost of thousands. I feel scammed and was sold broken hopes and dreams

      In July 2022, we bought a new Kia ***** 2020 at *************** dealership. We paid $500 markup fee above MSRP, plus Carnatic connection $299 and ********* Environmental Protection by Zurich Shield $699. Later we found that exterior/interior protection from Zurich Shield is useless for **. We want to cancel this warranty, but both *************** dealership and Zurich Shield refused to do so. On ********* Environmental Protection Registration form, it States that "PURCHASE OF THIS PRODUCT IS NOT REQUIRED AS A CONDITION TO OBTAIN FINANCING OR TO PURCHASE OR LEASE YOUR VEHICLE."This registration form doesn't indicate that this warranty is not cancellable.

      We are sorry to hear there is frustration.   The reason it is not cancelable is there was a product applied to the 2022 ************************* is a copy of the Terms and Conditions for review, you will find under section IX 'Other Provisions' is the documentation stating the warranty in non cancelable.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      (1) Kia ********** forced to sell this product to us. They didn't mention to us that this product is not cancellable

      (2) 'Non-cancellable' term is on page 2 in small print. When I signed Registration Form on page 1, I didn't see such a term. This is s TRAP to the customer. If I see this term on the Registration Form (page 1), I would not sign. 

      (3) Kia ********** only provided e-docs and e-signature. They didn't provide the hard copies of all the docs. Before I signed the form, I didn't get a chance to read though all the following pages, especially on a small cell phone.

      In May of 2022 I took my car to the ***** dealership where I purchased it because I noticed some spots on the hood that would not come out when I washed the vehicle. While there and inspecting the car we noticed the spots on the hood, roof and trunk lid of the car. The ***** service department said that it was likely from bird droppings or something that had splashed up on the car while going down the road. This statement supposedly frees ***** from being liable for it under warranty but I had purchased the Zurich shield warranty and I inquired as to whether it would cover it. The service department took pictures and sent them to Zurich but Zurich said the pictures were not clear and requested additional pictures. I took my car back to the dealer (almost 50 miles from my home) and they took additional pictures. Then Zurich said they would like to try a wet sand on my car. I took my car back to the dealership for a 3rd time and they attempted a wet sand. This did not work so Zurich sent another company out to take additional pictures of the car. Today, after 2 weeks of them having my car Zurich has denied the claim. I contacted Zurich about getting a refund for the purchase cost of the warranty (pro-rated, of course) and they told me it is not a returnable product. Basically this is a scam. Their brochure tells you it covers all of this stuff from environmental damages, but then they deny the claim and refuse to stand behind their warranty.

      So Ive been doing some research and I have come to find out that this company is a complete scam and it is being pushed on to us by car dealerships. This business is all about profit and does not care about the people who purchase their services. After scrolling through all the complaints and seeing the similar complaints that Im having. I have come to realize that this cannot go on any longer. We need to do something about it. This is my response to that by contacting the Better Business Bureau and leaving a detailed message. Please help us. What is happening is wrong. We all purchased this protection plan as a safety net. This safety net is no net at all. It is a scam. All of the details that they say they cover, are then revoked on the second page. I have a claim out with them and I have been miss treated poorly by their call center employees. I have reached out to the dealership where I bought my brand new 2021 ****** SR with 15 miles on it. I purchased the car for $28,000. The dealership has a stake in the game. They make money off the sale. They know that the product is not good. But they are selling it to us anyways. They falsify what it covers and then doesnt explain the limited liability. Or the liability that covers nothing. Because everything stated that it covers on the front page, is then walked back on the second page. This scam has gone on far too long. Both parties the dealerships and the main company has to answer for their misdeeds. I am calling on the Better Business Bureau to help all of us what is going on is wrong and it should not happen anymore. Please please help us stop this from happening. Help us stop it from happening to the next person thats going to leave a comment on this page. Thank you for taking your time reading this and I hope that we can solve this for not just me but for everybody that has been scammed by this company and the dealership. And if anyone in Enfield *********** is on the Enfield for my ******** please message

      We are sorry to hear about ******************** dissatisfaction.   Unfortunately, our product is unable to prevent rock chips from occurring.  Our product has many benefits and our warranty has a list of covered items however, missing paint is a listed exclusion.  

      During our conversation with **************** on 4/6/2022, we asked him to send photos of the damage so we could be sure the damage reported was not covered.  As of today 4/13/2022 we have not received photos of the reported damages on ******************** 2021 ****** Kicks.  We look forward to serving **************** should he have damages covered under the product and subsequent warranty he purchased for his vehicle on 10/6/2021.

      Purchased a service contract for zurich shield.My vehicle has countless blemishes even though the vehicle is very well cared for. Ive looked any many similar vehicles that did not have the zurich products applied and look flawless. Was given a professionals opinion and was told the zurich products are a scam and very well could be the cause of my issues.Zurich is telling me that my issues are not covered even though stated in the brochure they are.

      We are sorry to hear about ************************** frustration however, the damage reported for his paint claim are not covered.   Section II "Exceptions to this Warranty" explains that  peeling of the clear coat and paint chips are excluded.  A list of the covered items under this product warranty can be located in Section I "Scope of the Limited Warranty".

      We are pending photo's of the water staining and look forward to working with ********************** should he have covered damages.

      I filed a claim on 9/7/2021 about paint damage on my wife's car, claim #******. I was asked to take a few pictures and submit them. My claim was then denied without anyone inspecting my car. I paid a lot of money for extended coverage for the paint and interior of the car. My service advisor and a detailer have told me that the damage to the paint on the roof was caused by the sun baking the clear coat, which I consider environmental damage which is what the extra coverage was purchased for. My dealer doesn't use this program any longer, and Zurich Shield is no help. I have no choice but to file a complaint.

      We are sorry to hear about **************** frustration.  It is unfortunate that the damage reported in September of 2021 on his 2017 Chevrolet Bolt is not covered under the Zurich Shield product warranty purchased in April of 2018.  The roof of the Chevrolet Bolt reflects clear coat breakdown and scratches in the clear coat and are listed as exclusions.  We look forward to serving the Hawks in the future should they have damages listed under section I of the Terms and Conditions.

If the clear coat is burned off isn't that environmental damage. I didn't expect anything from Zurich Sheild. I hope that others reading this don't purchase their worthless coverage.
