      I submitted a service request to have two toilets repaired that were running after flushing. SDL plumbing was assigned to me and came to my home on 2/3. The plumber ordered the parts and returned to our home on Fri, 2/10 to replace all the components in the tank. On Wed, 2/15 our toilet overflowed and we were not there to notice it. The water ran for some time resulting in several inches of water in multiple rooms in my home (bathroom, bedroom closet, bedroom, hall bathroom, hallway, living room, foyer, hall closet, laundry room, and the garage). I called the plumber immediately and they informed us that the could not return to our home until the next day. I then called ******** Home ****** ***** and requested they send a different plumber out same day. They said the original contractor had to come and complete a report before the work order could be reassigned. *** contacted SDL to schedule them to come out. SDL told *** that they were not going to return to my home. I have 3 children under 8 years old, one who is an infant and we have been unable to sleep at our house for the last 4 nights due to the excessive water and damage. My home is unsafe and these conditions were created as a result of the "repair" made by SDL Plumbing. We never had a toilet overflow prior to SDL working on our toilet 5 days prior to this event. Their refusal to return to my home is not only poor service because they are not standing by their work, but it's indicative of negligence and fault. I have contaminated water throughout my home, moisture in the drywall, and the potential for mold to grow. SDL needs to provide me with their insurance information immediately so the insurance company can investigate and make this right (mitigation and restoration), so that my family and I can return to our home because it is currently inhabitable.

      Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2023/03/09) */ Contact Name and Title: ****-Supervisor Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: ***********@att.net first of all the customer called 5 days after we made repairs to the toilets tank, stating that the repairs we made was the cause for her toilet to overflow from the bowl and flood her home. I then explained to her that what we replaced would diffidently not cause that to occur and that it sounded as if she had another issue that has occurred,however I asked her if she had stopped the toilet from overflowing and causing any further damages? Once she stated that she had done so,I then offered the next morning. Since she explained that her toilet had overflowed the bowl indicating that the homeowner had a different issue now with a stoppage, than with the original issue the issue we corrected by replacing the fill valve and the flapper to stop the toilet from constantly running and that even though the homeowner went through their warranty co. and was supposed to place a recall before SDL INC could service her,SDL INC still offered to come out the following morning since she had called at the end of the day and there was no way we could come out that evening to take a look at what happened,SDL INC also explained to the customer that if it was a new issue when we arrived with a stoppage that the warranty co will make her make a new work order for the separate/new issue. At that time the Homeowner then got very upset with SDL INC and stated that she did not want us back out,she then got very rude and inconsiderate with office staff and stated that she would have her warranty co send a different vendor. she then called her warranty co and told them that she did not want SDL INC to return to her home then stated that she was going to try and sue. I told the homeowner as well as the warranty co that that was fine and that we would not return to the customers home. the homeowner then started to harass the office personnel multiply days in trying to get our COI after explaining to the homeowner that she can have her insurance co contact SDL INC and we can provide them with that info because we do not give that information out to the public.Once again that's when she threatened the office with reporting to the BBB.I then informed her that she has the right to do anything she pleased. Therefore I don't know why she has acted in this unprofessional way however we will not return to her home in attempts to prevent any further confrontation

      Company van hit my car Thanksgiving Eve at the park in ********** while I was backing up from the parking spot. The company driver was driving on a very high speed recklessly at a park crowded with kids which made him brake late after hitting me. Just destroyed my holiday vibe hitting my 70 thousand dollar car. Definitely will make a lawsuit against this company and it's employee who were high speeding in a company van in a park full of kids putting our kids in danger.

      This plumber came to fix a simple toilet clog. He snaked our toilet, after my husband removed the toilet for him, and you could hear the snake from downstairs where I was go all the way across the house. Zach, the plumber, exclaimed he fixed it! Comes downstairs I'm excitedly thanking him he leaves quickly and my husband has me call him because water was going everywhere he had broken a piece of the water valve. My husband fixed that himself. Later that night I heard something in that bathroom that sits above our master. The sink and bathtub were filling with toilet water! We called American Home Shield who said SDL denied the claim and will not come fix the issue that THEY caused!! No one will respond to our calls and I want them to be shown for who they are. I have read numerous complaints now after the fact and I wish I'd have known this before they came to my home!!

      SDL Plumbing showed up at our property located at **** FM ** in Waxahachie, TX XXXXX. We have an electronic gate opener with a keypad at the entry to our driveway. The plumber, Gary, did not call me or attempt to use the keypad, he got out of his vehicle and began pulling the gate towards his vehicle attempting to open the gate. In the process, he broke the electric LiftMaster arm and he broke the weld that held the arm to the metal post. The owner first stated he would pay for the repairs. We have been calling him for two weeks and he is not returning our phone calls. The gate needs to be repaired as soon as possible and he is avoiding us. The plumber that broke the gate even wrote on the receipt the gate needs to be repaired. Please help us get this business owner to repair what his company broke on our property.
