    I cannot remember having such a bad experience with any company. This is about a $32.00 bill that I refuse to pay because the services I explicitly requested were not provided. Weedman has now informed me they are sending my account to collections. I was very clear that I needed weed killer for crabgrass that was killing my grass. The sales person agreed, understood and said Weedman would take care of the crabgrass situation. He also told me that a lawn doctor would be out to walk thru my yard to assess and then discuss my yards needs. This never happened. It would have made sense that this lawn doctor would do the assessment prior to the first application. Instead, two technicians arrived to apply a different treatment. Before they started any application on my yard, I met with the lead technician. He informed me, as the only Weedman rep that has ever laid eyes on my yard, that they would not be applying pre/post emergent weed killer. He clearly stated and agreed that the treatment they were scheduled to apply was not the treatment my yard needed. He also told me he had the pre/post emergent on the truck, but could not apply this treatment without Weedman direction. With the onsite lead technician standing right in front of me, I called the Weedman office and told them this is not the treatment I requested and to instruct the technician to apply the requested weed killer. The Weedman office representative refused to change the order. The Weedman office rep told me that according to their program, I started late and missed the first application for pre/post emergent and would get the needed weed treatment in the middle of May, SIX WEEKS IN THE FUTURE. He refused to change the order and told me he knew what was best for my yard without ever laying eyes on my yard. I cancelled the agreements with Weedman because of their rigidity and because they were not willing to tailor a treatment to meet my lawns immediate needs.

The lawn requires food first to strengthen the grass which in turn thickens the lawn and helps reduce room for weeds and crabgrass to grow. With your first application we also applied weed control to reduce the weeds in your lawn. Your next schedule service was in 2-3 weeks and was rushed out by our staff to be done ahead of schedule for you. I have waived your outstanding invoice no payment is required.
