Scheduled appt for eye exam for 4/11/24 at 10am. Rec'd call at approx 9:50a that doctor was running late. Dr arrived at approx 10:15. By that time 10a (myself), 10:30a and 11am appts were waiting. Dr rushed me into exam room. Was a very hurried exam. Fastest I have ever had. Dr kept repeating my eyesight was much worse now & that I need annual exams. My last exam had been in 2021. Today (4/12) I went to Eyemart Express where I received my current glasses. Young lady checked her system & indicated I am still in there database. She then said it was good to see my eyesight had improved. IMPROVED?? I am constantly squinting to see & the eye dr repeatedly stated how my vision was/is worse. Eyemart Express rep stated the prescription from 2021 vs the one given to me yesterday is stronger than what I was given yesterday. I called eye dr's *** with that complaint. I provided the prescription information from 2021. Was told I will get a call back which I did. I was told the eye exam prescription given yesterday is not exact AND that I my vision is better due to 'cataracts'. Per ******* on the phone, now the dr is stating my vision has improved and her prescription is correct. I want a new eye exam or my money refunded.Business response

This is Mr **** office manager at Dr. ********************'s Eye Clinics. I have personally called Ms.Pamila @ 9:50 am on April 11th to let her know in advance that Dr. ******************** was running a bit behind due to a major accident on HWY 281. Yes, she had an appointment at 10 am , but I have informed her prior to her appointment time. According to the office camera, Dr. ******************** arrived by 10:10 am and saw *************** immediately.
I also reviewed the medical records that ****** cataracts on both eyes and worse in the left eye. There was a significant change in her G Rx between 2021 and 2024. Dr. ******************** updated her G prescription to the best vision as of now to 20/25 right eye and 20/30 left eye.
Unless Pt gets cataract Sx. she won't be correctable to 20/20 vision at this time. Certainly Pt will see much better with the new G Rx by Dr. ******************** than 2021 outdated G Rx. Dr. ******************** gave TWO prescriptions to ***************- one for the bifocal G Rx and another G Rx for the single vision readers at NO EXTRA COST. Any extra prescriptions that Pt may need request will change the exam fee. She should have been charged $118, however Dr. ******************** only collected $79 because felt bad that Pt had to wait 10 min. for Dr. ********************. Since *************** was a new Pt with us, Dr. ******************** spent more time with her exam and went over cataract status thoroughly and informed to get annually eye exam not every three years and get the glasses as soon as possible.
**************** left HAPPY and APPRECIATIVE towards Dr. ******************** at the time of check out and other patients in the waiting room witnessed that as well. Dr. ******************** even informed Ms. ****** to go to the Eyemart Express where she can get her glasses ASAP in about an hour. *************** said" THANK YOU " several times then left the office. There was no signs of her being unhappy or rushed with the eye exam !
THERE IS NO REFUND ON THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. ESPECAILLY WHEN Pt RECEIVE A QUALITY EYE EXAM WITH THE BEST VISION AS OF NOW.
HER G Rx IS FINAL !
