I signed a 6 month contract with this business for last extensions. Due to Covid, I was only able to use 2 months worth. I still paid the FULL 6 months AND signed a cancellation form at the end of my 6 month contract to no longer continue my services. My contract was over in may. They are saying I didn’t give enough notice to signing my contract form, EVEN THOUGH I FINISHED OUT MY CONTRACT. I didn’t cancel early. I simply paid 6 months worth of services I didn’t use and wanted to end my membership at the end of my term. Every month since may, they have continuously tried to charge my credit card and are now saying I owe almost $400 because I only gave them a 12 day notice instead of a 14 day notice that I was no longer going to continue my membership. They are saying until I pay $400, they won’t stop billing me month to month and at the 6 month mark they are sending a $700 bill to collections. I signed a 6 month contract. November to may. I paid my dues for my entire contract. And they will not stop trying to charge me. PLEASE HELP. I have contacted an attorney. Trying to see if I can get help here before we have to take them ti court. Trying to avoid that.
