            Be very, very wary of this business. They offer chiropractic services, but do not accept any insurance because, as they said, "they want to focus on you." I went for a consultation in May 2021 based on a colleague's recommendation and went through x-rays and different exercises that seemed like a normal assessment. However, afterwards, I was invited to receive my 'results' - and was advised to bring my husband with me, which struck me as odd. The results provided to me made my condition seem dire, and in fact the head chiropractor told me that "your nerves are dying, big-time." Multiple scare and pressure tactics AND pressure to commit to a plan that cost almost 5K (none of it covered by insurance). I ended up going to another chiropractor for an assessment and plan that WAS covered by insurance. That second chiropractor found some areas that needed adjustment but did not show anything extreme.

            I have been in Chiropractic Practice since 1980. Years ago I chose to get out of Insurance networks because they advised me they wanted me to never recommend over 6 visits. Spinal Health is critical as we get older and 6 visits is ridiculous. I always recommend 3 different plans to choose from that are much cheaper than the one mentioned. I Educate and the patient chooses. Many Chiropractors don't bother to educate and assume the patient doesn't care about Spinal Health.

            In response, I checked the paperwork I had been provided by Wren Chiropractic regarding treatment. One option detailed 49 visits, including "all therapies, stretching exercises and muscle work." Total: $4,992. A 20% discount was available for paying upfront, which reduced the amount to $3993.60.

            Second option for 24 visits. $2,852.00. Again, a 20% discount was offered for payment in full, reducing the amount to $2,281.

            I ended up going with a different chiropractor who worked with my insurance AND I was able to complete 20 visits this summer under my insurance plan. I am feeling much better and only paid a small fraction of the amount (ie, the patient responsibility amounts after insurance covered their portion) that I would have if I'd stayed with Wren.

            I share this experience as the entire experience with Wren raised red flags for me.
