They offered to buy my auto then backed out saying it had issues, while they had my auto they removed my custom licancs plate holders (s.s. with cadillac emblem) & would not give back. they offered me $50 for them but have not paid.Business response

In response to *********************** complaint # ********. We tried to buy ********************** Cadillac from him. Unfortunately, our service department discovered
that the car had transmission issues. We called ****************** immediately and told him that we are no longer interested in purchasing the car. ****************** came
back to get his car but our ****** had removed the plates off the car. We could not locate them so we went the next day to purchase new plates from the DMV.
We have no documentation nor does any manager recollect promising ****************** anything more than replacement plates. However, just to show good faith
we sent ****************** $50. I am inclosing a copy of the check we sent.

I got my suv back with damage to the floor mat on the passenger's front, I talk to ***** and sent him picture's of my complaint. Food tray on the back seat. My rear drivers wheel was chipped, I was charged $595.65 for a new rim because they said it would not balance, I ***** you that from 1/2023 until 11/2023 it was in and out of this shop, I was charged $110.83 for a chip on the handle and it was factory paint job. i pick up my old rim from the dealer and it was worst than when it was on my vehicle. ***** never call me back about the burnt marks on my floor ******* was not like that before when I dropped it of for repair!Business response

This customer is not being truthful at all. We have went above and beyond for this customer we have put him in a loaner anytime we were waiting for parts and delivered the loaner to him. ************** on the door handle was 100% his fault and he agreed to that while ******* was giving him a quote to paint it. We have put a drivers side cv shaft on the drivers side twice a brake rotor on the drivers side brought it to **************************** for the alignment and a hub assembly on the drivers rear. He complained about a vibration so we balanced the tires and found a bent wheel we called Hyundai and they would not cover the wheel due to outside damage to the wheel so he called Hyundai and they told him the same thing so he was mad and I discounted the wheel and I dont think we charged him to remount and balance the tire. And I did talk to him about the burnt **** on his floor mat and the food in his backseat. But what he failed to mention that his daughter that lives in ******* is the one driving the car and he only brings it in when she tells him something is wrong . Bottom line is he is upset about having to pay for the wheelCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: I am totally rejecting the statement from this company, neither should i be told anything about my daughter: yes there is a problem with all the repairs, yes you travel in my suv and burnt marks and food containers. you had to do what you said that you haven't done, yes you are correct look at the list repairs. you charged me and I paid for everything's that should have been warranted. Sure I'm upset this is why I am seeking help, this is brand new SUV with problems, and yes you did give a loaner isn't that what a business should do, accommodate customer's, when the repair's are longer than the customers have had the **** sure who wouldn't be upset. Just look what you did when you drove my vehicle to get what was done for repairs, how do i know if your driver hit something that caused the major damages. I paid and don't understand why with a new auto and warranty, my point of view is this response be posted today, and will reject the statement from this company, Yes Look at the repair list!!!!!

My car a 2019 hyundai accent has been brought in 4 times for the same problem. Once they charged me 350 to do some things to it. Then the other times they did some things that only temporarily fixed in. The last time they said they drove it and didn't find anything wrong with it. This car is stk under warranty. I keep it serviced and use grade 93 gas It has 36000miles on it only. . One of their mechanics told me I didn't drive it enough and that's the problem. . Please help.Business response

I purchased a 2022 Hyundai sonata from Hyundai of silsbee on 7/14/21. I noticed the car didn't feel like it was running correct about 3or 4 weeks after purchase. I contacted the dealership and was told the technician was out and was scheduled for a couple of weeks out. Upon the dealership checking the car I was told nothing was wrong. On 1/04/22 I left for work and the vehicle would not accelerate so I turned around and went back home. I contacted Hyundai of silsbee and was told once again the technician was out and it would be February before they were back and told me to call the Hyundai roadside assistance to have the car towed to the next dealership. After contacting roadside assistance I was told I lived too far and they would not pay to have it towed to the next available dealership in ********* TX. The car is still under warranty and the roadside assistance is included. I called Hyundai of silsbee back and told them what roadside assistance said and was informed they only cover towing to the nearest dealership and they told me to use my insurance for a tow or wait until February. I have had to use my AAA service to get my vehicle to the available dealership to be checked. I have also contacted Hyundai motor company concerning this due to the vehicle is totally covered for towing and repairs it should not be my responsibility to get the vehicle to the dealership and pay for it.Initial Complaint

My Wife and I visited Hyundai of Silsbee on September 10, 2021 to look at vehicles. We found a 2022 Hyundai Palisade we liked, so we went forward with the purchase. We traded in my wife's 2014 Jeep Wrangler that day, and signed the paper work for the trade and the new vehicle. About a month goes by, so around October 05, I get an email from where we had my wife's previous vehicle financed through that they were going to add a 1400 insurance policy as the vehicle was no longer covered. I made a phone call to the Credit Union and found out that my trade had not been paid off. Almost a whole month had went by and the loan for the vehicle we traded in was still in our name, and the loan was 15 days over the due date. I called the dealership to find out what was going on, and I was told from one of the account ladies (*****) that her Manager **** said "they were behind, but it would get paid off." I took that for what it was worth, but let ***** know I was not satisfied with her managers reasoning. I called the credit union back the next day and the loan department said that was an unexceptional response, and that they needed to send a pay check over night to the credit union. When I called the Dealership back, I was put on hold and forwarded the the Accounts Manager ****. As I was waiting on hold, I had pulled up to ***** to order my son a shake. As the lady came on the loud speaker, **** also came on the line. I asked her politely to hang one moment ma'am and I placed her on mute for 5 seconds to order. When I unmuted her, I said I am sorry and she began on digging in to me how Rude it was to put her on hold. That I called her, she didnt call me looking for answers and just completely was disrespectful. She began explaining to me why the loan wasn't paid in a completely rude tone of voice and when I even began to raise my voice about the situation she hung up on me. I called back and reported this to the Sales manager and asked to hear back. Still have not heard back.Customer response

I am wanting to speak with the owner as I requested 2 weeks ago for him to explain what corrective actions will be taken against this employees complete rude and unprofessional manner. I called to discuss an issue that was at their fault and was completely disrespected with the employees attitude and being hung up on when I was wanting answers. I am seeking corrective actions against this employee and their behavior. To allow an employee to talk to customers as she has, and not return the customers call when asked to speak about this issue with upper management is unacceptable. I have seen multiple reviews since this issue from other customers with being disrespected by the finance department.
