We ate dinner in this restaurant on November 4, 2022, our bill was ***** I left a **** tip equaling 45.55.When I received my credit card statement, ***** had been added to the amount *****. I called my credit card company, and they advised me to try and contact the restaurant first to resolve the issue. I did call on December 22, 2022 and spoke with **** (who was the waiter and is the manager and son of the owner). He was apologetic and said he would get with the bookkeeper and get back to me. I gave him a week and called back asking to speak with the owner. He (****) said he could help me. I again told him why I was calling, and he remembered me and said they were looking into it, and that they had trouble with their credit card company. I told him I was giving him a couple days, before I filed a complaint with my credit card company. He called me the next day to say I could come by and pick up the *****. I informed him I wasn't driving to ****** to get it, he ask me for my credit card number, which i refused to give him. He said they had two charges close to the same amount, and didn't know which one to credit?????I told him to just mail it to me and gave him my mailing address and that if I didn't get it in two days, I would be filing a complaint. I have given him 5 days and here we are. I have filed a complaint with my credit card company and now with you. I don't feel this is ok and I don't believe the bull he has given me.
