Took truck in for valve cover gasket and seals. They had my truck for over 2 weeks and prior to the 3rd week I was told it was ready to pick up. I paid ****, the manager, $1100 cash when I dropped it off. When I left the place I tried to accelerate from the first stop sign and the truck studdered and misfired all the way to my driveway a 1/4 mile away. It was Friday evening and there was nothing I could do till Monday morning upon which I returned the truck to ****. After checking the sparkplugs myself I found them to be drowned in fresh oil and the truck hasn't ever stopped smoking since... He said he would stand by his work and do the second 3rd week went by I tried again and truck would not accelerate properly and continued to smoke and this went on till the most recent 5th time I dropped the truck off with him and he claims that it won't stop misfiring bc of clogged catalytic converters. At one point over these many weeks I noticed he had broken 3 of the clips on the right side of the motor and when asked about it he said he would repair them and it wasn't done properly and I know bc I had broke the left side before taking him the truck and had to get new ones and rewire them in. In the end he gave me a quote of over $3k to fix the cats only but since the truck wasn't driveable at this point and smoked worse than ever I finally took the truck to a different reputable shop and they took many pictures and found the head cover to be slightly cracked and leaking into some of the sparkplugs and I have many pictures to prove this with no more than a couple miles on the truck over all these months without my truck. He then says he will pay the cost to the new shop to do the head cover correctly and after taking another week to finally respond he refuses to pay claiming it's not covered under his warranty. Go ANYWHERE BUT HERE IS MY ONLY ADVISE
